Beautiful view back to Castle Rock Valley. The road is long and winding and once you get past the views of Castle Rock it is not too scenic
Didn't know what to expect, but very glad we were directed here. Don't know if it's always there, but a portapotty was conveniently located about midway on our visit. Nice way to get off the beaten track and enjoy the country around Moab.
beware the cows. I liked the views the most. It was also impressive how much the nature changed so close to Moab. There are forests, and curving hairpin turns. Give it time, and you may enjoy the break from the Moab heat
This was breath-taking, in more ways than one. Breathtakingly beautiful, but that road is awfully high and narrow. Have these people never heard of guard rails? 60 miles of great views and pleasant meandering roads. Take your time. Get out, stretch, take little walks. You can do it in 2 hours, but experienced in 4. Pay attention to signs once you are in the mountains, easy to miss turn offs. Best done with GPS.
