We have been here a couple of times before, but never this late in the season. We went to the park over Thanksgiving weekend and stayed in the Devil's Garden Campground inside the park. The campground was only 1/4 full due to the season, but in summer it fills up by early morning so be prepared. The campground is very... more

Lovely park! We went in November and it wasn't crowded at all. Great weather too. The main hike we did was to Delicate Arch (with a toddler in a baby backpack). It was a great hike. Not too strenuous and not too easy. For the people from Phoenix- I thought it was easier than hiking Camelback. more

Arches National Park is well worth the time it takes to travel through it. The arches are breathtaking and it is just plain fun to hike the trails up to each arch. We were there for one day and felt that we could have used another to see everything. more

We have been to Arches National Park 3X and loved it every time. The rock formations are simply amazing. We tent camped in the campground twice and it was really good, but we found that it was so windy in the campsite at lunch and dinnertime that we couldn't even prepare or eat a meal there. We ended up going... more

We just spent 4 days at Arches NP and loved it. We even added on an extra day to visit Arches one more day. Amazing rock formations. We went on some nice hikes, and there were many short hikes the kids could do. Moab is good for restaurants and places to stay. more

We stayed in Moab, and spent two days exploring the Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands. These are all spectacular! We went in August and as you can imagine it was very hot! Early morning and late afternoon are best for comfort and for seeing the spectacular colours of the red sandstone formations. An absolute must is to... more

We stayed in Moab while touring Utah. It's an attractive town with lots of and lots of motels and fewer restaurants. Location is great for visiting Arches and the other wonderful Utah parks. However, I would not make it a destination by itself -- unless you are under 30 and interested in biking and hiking. Biking and hiking are great,... more
