My wife and I are decently skilled mountain bikers back east but when when we decided to go to Moab we thought it would make our trip a lot more enjoyable if we hired a guide/instructor.. Mike is a superb guide and instructor. He tested us out a bit and determined our skill level, had us do some drills, and... More

Magpie Cycling's highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly team made the difference! We had a group of 8 with a wide range of cycling experience -- the Magpie Team made it fun for everyone. The meals were delicious featuring fresh fruit and veggies. The geology and history discussions were fascinating. We sincerely recommend Magpie Cycling! Joe T.

What a patient and caring guy Craig was with my son, 9 years old, and when Craig's derailler broke 3 minutes in, he soldiered on riding the extra small bike for the entire nine mile ride! I can't wait to come back now and ride some more advanced trails.

Magpie Cycling is the best!! The tour was amazing- they thought of absolutely everything! Delicious food, great campsites, shade from the truck and chairs to sit in. The guides were knowledgable, friendly and fun. They really went out of their way to make it an amazing trip. If you're wanting to do the White Rim trail, go with Magpie!

Maggie set my husband and I up on 2 great Trek bikes, did not know shocks could be adjusted and seats could be adjusted while riding. Maggie was able to help get me through some tough parts of trails with practice and coaching. The next two days Mike took us to other great trails around Moab and got us around... More

I would highly recommend Magpie Cycling Adventures. Our wonderful guides made this so much more than "just a long MTB ride". They were extremely knowledgeable about the cultural , as well as the geologic history. I had not even thought about how much I would be learning!! They gave amazing cycling pointers; like "surfing through the sand", looking up as... More

We were a couple of newbies to mountain biking. Our rental equipment was top of the line. Maggie & Craig were incredibly helpful & really invested in our having a great experience. Due to my own inexperience, I took a nasty spill & required a bit of medical attention, which was ably provided by Maggie. The meals, also provided by... More

I've been mountain biking for over 20 years, and last week was my 4th trip to Moab. This time I only had one day to ride, and wanted to go out with a private guide. Magpie Cycling set me up with a Trek Remedy 7 and Craig Hill as my guide. Craig is an outstanding guide, an insanely talented rider,... More

We booked a two day private tour with Magpie and had a fantastic experience with Mike Rundle as our excellent guide First day we went up in the Amasa Back area where we did Hymasa, Pothole and Captain Ahab with Mike guiding us down the steepest decents. The second day we did The Whole Enchilada. The first day was fantastic,... More

I had four days with a private guide -- Craig, who is not only IMBA certified, but offered many spot-on pointers. His helpful tips (when needed) not only made the experience more enjoyable, it helped me improve upon my skills. All the while, he made the experience so seamless that it didn't seem too different (other than his vast knowledge... More
