We did the combo white water and flat water tubing trip. It was a blast. I definitely don't recommend roping the tubes together on the white water tubing portion. We got snagged on a rock. Also, my tube popped about halfway down the river. We were able to get another tube from one of the other tubing companies dropping people... More

Spent the day at River Riders today. Did the Aerial Park in the morning and the Canopy Tour in the afternoon. Great day all around! We booked online (to go white water rafting and on the Canopy Tour) one week prior to the day of our trip, which was within the no refund time frame. Murphy's law, last than 24... More

Wanted to get away from phones & distractions... two days was just enough! Stayed in the 4 person cabin w/kitchenette... very clean! It was one step up from a tent. No WiFi, no TV... great place to hike, canoe & relax. Beautiful location & friendly, attentive (not hovering) staff! It would be a great place to hang out w/friends! Kids would... More

We did adventure park first at 10am (2 hr) then white water rafting at 2pm (3 hr). It was perfect! Doing the park in the morning then rafting in afternoon allowed us to cool off after a sweaty morning. Adventure park has different level courses so there is something for everyone. We had Captain Greg as our guide and he... More

We reserved a couple hours to paddle board (stand up). Although we were required to arrive a full hour before our reservation, which was annoying, we had a great time. We were told that at times it gets very busy and it takes a full hour to get all people signed in and equipped. I believe we were the first... More

The level 1-3 rapids were fun. The guides were helpful, knowledgable and encourage group morale while rowing. We had 2 stops to swim, one included a small river slide off the Shenandoah River and another was a river slide through a rapid on the river. I was grateful lunch was complimentary for our trip, we were hungry.. Hotdogs and hamburgers... More

I've tubed pretty much every year for the last 4 or 5 years, but this was our first trip with River Riders. I have to say, I'm impressed! Although the check-in process was a little chaotic and crowded, I appreciated the opportunity to fill out the waiver forms online before we arrived. The prices are very competitive - we paid... We were 6 people, ranging in age from 15-59, who rented inflatables kayaks for the "whitewater" trip. It was a pretty good trip, with a few minor thrills, but don't expect much in this department. The river supposedly was still higher than average for this time of year, but several times I got stuck on rocks (I'm claiming it was... More

I had a great time with the group of friends I went with. there was 9 of us. Emily and Jake were amazing t work with. they made it so our nerves were still intact at the end. A lot of laughs and memories were made.

"White water rafting"...more like floating. Wasn't the high pace I was expecting. Guide said to call for water depth ahead of time, the higher the water, the more fun. Was also upset that they offer $20 zipline add-on for after the rafting, but were told it was close when we returned.
