It used to be 8 dollars but was raised to 14. It is entirely outdoors and you do not go into any buildings. The tour guide is entertaining, but I would not waste you money. Again, 14 dollars is way to high to just walk around outside and hear a few stories. Also...no bathrooms!

Lots of education and ghost stories. Our guide made the tour fun and entertaining. Definitely worth staying up late.

A truly enjoyable evening spent hearing stories and walking the sites in Harpers Ferry. Our tour guide demonstrated both knowledge and showmanship. A definite return trip is planned.

I have taken many ghost, night, walking and historical tours, and this one ranks very close to the top in quality of story teller, quantity of good stories and relevant historical references. Rick, our guide, dressed in such a way that he did not look costumed or garish, but somehow blended perfectly with the Harper's Ferry "living history" theme. He... More

Rick was wonderful and was an amazing storyteller and historian. I highly recommend this tour! I'm not a believer of ghosts but he sure had me convinced!

Sorry, but I was not impressed. When speaking, it is obvious that he has told the same story 100's of times before and it was presented as being read from a script. The friends we went with were also disappointed and said that Leesburg's tour is much better.

The presenter was very well versed in the history of the town and was able to entertain as well as inform. If you are fascinated with the aspects of the Catholic religion. This is the tour for you. My main recommendation on this tour: Go in good weather. The church is nice and warm, but sitting on the hard wooden... More

My boyfriend and I trepidatiously walked up the steps of St. Peters Church in Harpers Ferry to attend the well known ghost tour. It was about 37 degrees out and we were wondering how we were ever going to stay warm on the tour! Much to our pleasant surprise, Rick Garland, who now owns the business with his wife, greeted... ...but it was still excellent! The tour lasted for approximately 90 minutes and, therefore, we felt we got good value for money. The ghost tour was one of the main things we wanted to do in Harpers Ferry so, even after a tiring and delayed flight from the UK, we raced down the street to the historic old town just... More
