This activity seems to have nothing but great reviews, but my girlfriend and I left before the end of the tour because it just was not hitting the mark. I'm actually very surprised to see that more reviewers do not feel manipulated when half of the almost 2 hour tour was spent in front of two buildings where the tour... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this. I hesitated to attend at first because I do not believe in talking to the dead and seances are a door to the demonic that I choose to not participate in. But I learned that these tours are not like that at all. Rick led us to different areas of this beautiful historic town in the evening.... More

If you like historical ghost tours you will love this tour. Rick Garland does an excellent job of relating stories of ghostly happenings in various places as we walked around the town. Rick is a talented story teller and between his stories and his singing he will keep you entertained. Also, check out Rick's website (http://www.obejoyfull.com/) to learn about his... More

I've done a lot of ghost tours and never have I thought of ghosts as real until I listened to these stories. There are definitely places I would never stay overnight based on the experiences related during the tales. This is a walking tour and not for those with mobility issues (but that is just about anything within Harpers Ferry)... More

Although my wife and I were somewhat skeptical about the recent explosion of Ghost Tours everywhere in the country, (in Gettysburg there are five vying for your attention in half a block walk); we decided in might be fun. Thankfully, we took the plunge! Rick Garland in a fabulous storyteller and living historian. A mix of West Viginia history, Civil... More

This was my husband's first ghost tour and boy did we enjoy it! The combination of the town's history along with the ghost stories was a wonderful mix. The host is a wonderful entertainer, from story telling to singing, he has a wonderful voice. Highly recommend this tour when visiting Harper's Ferry, it is not just for the ghost seekers!

We enjoyed our tour and guide. Tour improved throughout the evening as the skies darkened and the town became super quiet, almost like a "ghost town". We would absolutely go again and will highly recommend to friends and fellow travelers.
