My father and mother attended the Harper's Ferry ghost tour this past weekend, and my Dad walked away with quite the story! My father and mother came to a stop at the back of the group at the National Park Services building, and as the guide stood in the doorway and told the tales related there, a soft light appeared... I just beg to differ with most of the reviews given, and to be honest am perplexed as to why I don't agree with the majority of the reviews. I too have been on two ghost tours in Edinburgh, Scotland, a few in Ireland...also partook of ghost tours in in Plymouth, MA, Gettysburg, PA, New Orleans, LA, Catalina, CA, and... More

Having been on a ghost tour in Edinburgh, I was delighted when my friends suggested this one in Harper's Ferry and I was not disappointed. Our guide brought the old town to life for us, with interesting facts and great stories. One thing that makes this kind of thing so fun is that guide engages in a dialog with the... More

This was my first ghost tour and I was skeptical going in. I was so surprised! I did not see any ghosts, but the tour guide is an excellent story teller and the stories were so interesting! It was pitch dark and there are no street lights. The town was literally deserted by the time the tour started (8pm). The... More

This was a great tour even if you think these tours are mostly fake; I can see why it is so highly rated. The tour guide is mostly a civil war historian which makes this tour that much better. He proclaims he has never seen a ghost but tells the story, along with the history, very honestly with no tall... More

Our tour guide was amazing, funny, entertaining and provided some really interesting history about the town. His passion and enthusiasm about Harper's Ferry and it's local history came out in his tour. We toured HP during the day, but seeing it at night added a whole new dimension to the town.

Maybe because our group was small and the streets were dark, but more than one of us got spooked! The tour guide is a good performer, and all the ghost stories were somehow connected to history, so one cannot help but learn while having fun!

My husband, 12-y-o son, 7-y-o daughter and I had an enchanted evening in beautiful Harpers Ferry; thanks to this tour and the experienced guide. We hope to go again with a large group! Such a great way to engage as a family! Thanks, Rick!

Went with a church youth group from CT. This was an excellent tour that was entertaining, presented by a very charismatic actor. Great fun; would do it again.

For less than you would spend on a night at the theater you get an evening of entertainment and history. Great stories of Harpers Ferry's past as you tour through its streets at night. Memorable bits of history shared by a masterful story teller.
