A little pricey, but great service and great products. Really enjoy shopping here every time we are in Bayfield. Went on a sail on Lake Superior with them, very relaxing and fun.

My husband and I decided to combine our Valentines and upcoming Anniversary celebrations into one adventure - dog sledding! It was a great decision. We arrived at the " office" having made reservations ahead of time ( required), 15 minutes before the reservation time. Signed release forms and got fitted with some warm, cozy clothing to make sure we would... More

This was an amazing experience. It is very expensive. However, I'm guessing that it's very expensive to maintain 50 dogs, liability insurance and then the staff. We did the morning adventure. We got there, they provided us with warm boots, gloves, and a parka (so you don't need to worry about the cold). The day was warm for the dogs... More

Mushing is not something we often do in Tennessee, so the opportunity to try it on a recent trip to Wisconsin was a real treat. The experience exceeded our expectations. Beautiful scenery, excellent instructions, friendly dogs, staff and other participants made for a great morning. I was skeptical whether participants really experienced mushing as the web site suggests, and I... More

This past weekend, my girlfriend and I participated in the Winter Camping Adventure "2 day dog sled adventure". With that being said, we were very disappointed in what we received for the money. It was $749 per person without tax for the two day one night trip. The website indicates that the start time is 2p.m. however, we were instructed... More

I went to Bayfield to see the ice caves and couldn't help myself. My friend and I had to do this, too. It is a very expensive half day trip but it's not just hopping on a sled and racing around. You have to appreciate the location, spending time with the dogs - who are loving and adorable - as... More

My half day trip with Wolfsong was the first of my dog sled adventures-but I felt it was fitting to write about it NOW that I have some things to compare it to. After sledding with several other outfitters as well since (I did my trip with them back in 2012) I can only appreciate the excellent customer service and... More

I have to say that I was pretty disappointed in that it was touted as a 2.5 hour adventure however we were only on the dog sled for about an hour at most. Within the hour ride, we stopped several times waiting for other riders to catch up - so it was ride for 5 minutes, wait for 5 minutes... More

Hello sunseeker093, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry that you are fairly disappointed. We stand firmly behind our "hands on" style of adventures. We intentionally choose not to give "rides" like a lot of other mushing tours. We believe that if the customer has the hands-on experience in helping with most aspects of... More

Dogsledding with the folks at Wolfsong Adventures is an amazing experience. You are one on one with the dogs, you learn to harness them up to the sleds, you drive your own sled, and you unhook and feed the pups at the end of the trip. The guides (Jen and Marita) are personable, knowledgeable, engaging, and obviously know their stuff.... More
