The golf course is well maintained and the scenery is so magnificent of Lake Superior and all of the beautiful trees that it seems like you are playing golf within a postcard! Great people at the course, great value and Superior views. You will never want to leave!

This golf course is well maintained and has beautiful views of Lake Superior from many of the holes. It's not an easy course, but still enjoyable even for high handicappers.

I and my buddy are both high handicappers but experienced golfers. The number one feature without a doubt is the view. The course is not a polished municipal course by any means as is true of most short season northern midwest courses. I call this a "billy goat" course because of the dramatic hills up and down. I don't see... More

Got to the place and parked in a handicapped spot at bottom of stairs hoping he could climb the stairs for a drink. Was told by guy working on carts could not park there. Thinking was not in handicapped moved to the other handicapped to be told by girl who came out of basement could not park there. I said... More

If you are any kind of a golfer, you won't want to miss the chance to golf this course. It is very well maintained and beautiful. I recommend a cart because of all the hills. It is a rather difficult course. Keep an eye out for celebrities!!! Nice helpful bartender as well.

I haven't actually played the course - I hope to in a couple of weeks - but the setting is absolutely gorgeous, and the rates are astonishingly cheap-like less than $35 a round cheap. My dad has played it and he thinks its as beautiful as any course he's played, including Pebble Beach!

This is not going to be a golf review...I attended a wedding at the golf course, and the location was perfect. The course has spectacular views of Lake Superior. They have a nice outdoor patio to enjoy your beverage after playing some holes. If you are planning a wedding in the Bayfield/Ashland area I would check this place out. The... More

This is a quality golf course and is very reasonable. The views of Lake Superior are breathtaking--sometimes so beautiful you forget about your game! I will be back to play it again next year for certain.

Spectacular views of Lake Superior & Apostle Islands on more than half the holes. This is NOT a long or especially difficult course. HOWEVER: * Strongly suggest that you play with a local golfer the first few times. There are many doglegs where the green is not visible from the tee, and local knowledge of where to aim tee shot...
