I have taken at least 3 multi-night kayak trips with Living Adventure, Inc. I have also taken 1 trip with Trek and Trail. I highly recommend Living Adventure. They are professional and safe. Their food is made on site and they have put a lot of thought into their menus. Your trip will leave on time. Your guide will be... More

If you find yourself in northern Wisconsin, you have to take a kayak trip/sea caves tour. It's not to be missed. The day of my group's tour, the seas were angry and we were only able to paddle through one of the caves. The waves were hitting hard and high and it was dangerous. That said, our guides were great.... More

We took advantage of one of the last good days of the season to kayak on Lake Superior. We had read reviews of a couple different companies and are so happy we chose Living Adventures. We made a last minute decision and were in and out of phone service until the morning of the trip. Even still, Gail was very... More

Thank you so much for submitting this wonderful review! We are thrilled you had such a great time with us. It's such positive energy from great trip guests like you that recharges all of our batteries here at Living Adventure and spirits us on to keep excelling as the Apostle Islands number one outfitter. We hope to see you again... More

We were a group of 5 that were hoping to kayak around the Sea Caves but the weather was against us even though it was a beautiful day. The waves were 3-5 feet high in that area so we had to resort to Plan B.....Our guides (Mike and Eliana) took us to calmer waters were we paddled through a lagoon... More

I took part in a 3 day, 2 night kayak trip with Living Adventures out of Bayfield in late August. I learned a lot and found out I have a lot to learn if I am going to get serious about kayaking, especially on Lake Superior. The trip I took is called Beaches, Waves & Caves. The first day you... We had a family group of 5 for a full-day trip to the Sea Caves in late August. It is a roll of the dice for weather on Lake Superior but we lucked out and had sunny, calm day. Guides Ebry and Charlie did a terrific job. They have great knowledge, skill, and are safety conscious. The operation is first... More

We arranged and paid for an all day trip with this group, arrived on time and then rescheduled for 3 hours later though that trip was then cancelled due to rain. They didnt have enough staff to accomadate us the next day on the sea cave trip and though we tried to rearrange our trip to go out it just wouldnt... More

Because people often travel from a far to join us for a sea kayaking adventure our commitment is to try our very best to get the groups out paddling on any given day. Weather on Lake Superior can be very fickle and change rapidly; often times if we wait out a storm front there is great weather on the other... More

Giving them five stars because they were really great in all ways. However, do heed their website warning that when weather doesn't allow for safe paddling, the planned trip will be altered. I was pumped to see the sea caves, but strong NW winds created impossible and unsafe paddling conditions. Instead, we paddled through a small estuary where we saw... More

Love your great attitude! Thank you so much for the fair assessment of the day and for supporting the decisions made by our company to offer the best possible adventure outcome. For everyone signing up on the Sea Caves Day Trips we clearly state our weather/cancellation policy; "refunds for sure if we cancel due to unsafe weather; but before we... More

My boyfriend and I were new to kayaking so we wanted to connect with a reputable outfitter. We did our research and picked Living Adventures. It was a great decision.
