Can either drive thru this gorgeous area of San Francisco not too far fromt eh Bay and cable car, or walk around in park, houses are old style, so nice all of them.

The tour was interesting to those in our group that were there for various reasons: the history, houses, politics and celebrity. Jay has everything planned out from start to finish. He shares the details of many architectural elements of Victorian, Edwardian and other special buildings their histories and uses. He was very helpful in recommending What to do and see... More

My partner and I live in San Francisco, but we really enjoyed all the new things we learned on the tour. Our guide, Jay, was amazing, he is so knowledgable and really helped make us love our city even more than we already did. So while this is a great tour for visitors, it's also fantastic for locals!

My wife and I recently took Jay's informative tour of San Francisco Victorian houses. We found him very informative and engaging. I am a Realtor and have a good knowledge of homes, but I too learn some new and interesting facts.

My fiancé and I took the tour this morning. Jay was a great tour guide, he set a great atmosphere for the tour. He was so relaxed and friendly. You could tell straight away he was very knowledgeable. He knew where to go and what to tell you. He also knew a lot about the city's history and how the... More

I was lucky with weather and it was pretty pleasant to have a stroll. Very european part of the city, unusual for the US.

Thank you for taking our tour. Our route is always the same, but occasionally the guide is an alternate, as was the case when you took the tour. In future, our alternate schedule is listed at the bottom of our homepage. More

Great tour, Jay is very knowledgeable about the history of the homes and the city. Easy walk. Got to see the inside of a beautiful Victorian hotel. You meet at the very central Union Sq and it ends on Union St which is full of great restaurants to eat at for lunch. Highly recommend this tour.

This is an excellent tour for which the other reviewers have appropriately lauded. Keep in mind this lets you see an area that you would not think to go into without a tour guide. Great info and organization by Jay.

We were on the same tour as Chris Z and agree with everything he said. There were no hills to climb. At the end of the tour, he gave us some suggestions on where to get some lunch on Union Street in Cow Hollow and what bus to get on to get back to Union Square. I appreciated Jay's enthusiasm...
