Our guide Marilyn has lived in the immediate area for many years. You could tell be her immense knowledge. 2 1/2 hours for $25 is a good deal. Saw inside of one authentic true Victorian. I am in real estate and this Victorian Walk provided me with a history of Victorian homes in San Francisco. Jay provided a lot of educational facts about the Victorians of the past and the present. Hi Ross. We are so glad that you enjoyed our tour. You make a great point, although the tour is roughly 2 1/2 hours, this includes transportation time, as well as many different stops to both talk and explore!

We really enjoyed the walking tour with Jay. He was very informative and knowledgable of SF and the homes. He made sure we had water and stopped under shady trees often as it was very hot that day. The tour is well worth you time and money.

At first I was a bit unsure to just show up in Union Square for the tour. I got there about 10 minutes before 11AM and there wasn't anyone there. But sure enough by 11AM about 12 people showed up as well as our guide for the tour, Marilyn. She was great and really seemed to know her stuff. She...

We found this by chance after the San Francisco movie tour people let us down (they don't run the tour if they don't get enough people) but really felt we'd found a gem. The tour starts in Union Square at 11am each day and the cost includes a public bus there and back. We took the bus to Japantown and...

Slight apprehension about going on a tour without a written/verbal confirmation, but Jay showed up exactly as described on the web site, holding a yellow sign at the corner of Powell & Post at Union Square Park. There was about 20 of us attending this particular tour. He thoroughly explained the agenda and launched right into the history of SF...
