Had a great time walking around San Francisco learning more about its history and the beautiful victorian architecture. If you've already seen the major sights of San Francisco this is a great way to explore new areas and learn more about the history of the city.

I believe this walking tour is the perfect choice for anyone with an interest in San Francisco's history or architecture. Both got nicely covered by our guide and long-time city resident, Jay, during the more than two hours that we (four participants) spent with him. The walk took us through parts of the lovely Pacific Heights neighborhood and ended in... More

My husband does not like to do "touristy" things, but I managed to talk him in to taking this tour today. We both LOVED it! Jay is funny, engaging and very knowledgeable about San Francisco history and architecture. His love of this city clearly comes through during the tour. The homes were beautiful and an easy walk for anyone. We... More

Being a California Native, I was so thrilled to be able to take a walk with someone so knowledgeable as Jay. He is very friendly and the walk he planned is easy with no hills. It was well planned and executed on his part. This was a great walk even for us seniors.

Four of us did this walking tour yesterday and we loved it. Jay, our guide, has an excellent route planned for every walking ability. The tour features architecture in San Francisco from 1860 to the present. You learn how the city survived the great fire from the 1906 earthquake, history of the wide variety of Victorian homes and Edwardian buildings.... More

This is a well planned and executed tour. The guide Jay was a font of expert knowledge and was in a position to answer a barrage of questions from our small well informed local and international group. His local knowledge was useful for travel, restaurants and things to do in and around San Francisco. It was also a superb bargain... More

My wife booked a surprise getaway to San Fransisco that included the Victorian Home Walk. She kept it a secret all the way up to the moment our tour guide appeared in Union Square. Being a fan of San Fransisco, of architecture, and of historical events, I found this tour to be very enjoyable. A good tour guide can make... More

Went with 2 friends and had a great time. Two of us had done the tour several years ago and wanted the third friend to go on it. She enjoyed it too!

Very interesting tour, much because of the wonderful guide Jay. He made even the least interested person in our gang of friends, fascinated.
