We had a great time touring North Beach with Tastes of the City Tours! Our guide was enthusiastic and helpful and seemed to really care that we were having a good time. We visited five spots for coffee, delicious bread and macaroons, meatballs, fudge and pizza. I'm a vegetarian and my husband is a big meat eater, and we were... More

We did the North Beach tour with Jim, he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. He organised for us to go!into the Saints Peter and Paul Cathederal and he was able to give us a good history of North Beach. The food tastings were good the coffee was awesome and there was more than enough... More

We took the North Beach food tour. Our guide was very informative, funny and engaging. We made a bunch of food stops and got to hear and see the history of North Beach. We took the afternoon tour and the one thing I'll say is if you are expect this to be a lunch tour, it's not, it's more of... More

My wife and I wanted a tour that would be personal and give us time to take in the sights and we chose the walking tour of North Beach and Little Italy. We had an absolutely great time walking with our small group and getting some knowledge of the area. Blandina, our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We will... More

My family (including a 9 year old) decided to go on the North Beach walking tour just for the fun of it. It was my third time to SFO but first walking tour in the city. Turned out to be one of the BEST tours ever taken! From cafe and candy shops to church and galleries, Blondina took us on... More

My boyfriend and I took this tour last weekend. There was a lot of walking (although no more than a typical food tour) so I'm glad the weather was so nice. Our leader Jim was hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable- he has been visiting North Beach for over 50 years and knows a lot about the food, of course, but also... More

We took the North Beach tour with Blandina last week and would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn about a very interesting part of the city from a long time resident who is clearly in love with the area and really enjoys sharing it with people. The food is almost secondary to her stories. She seemed to... More

Our family of 5 really loved the San Francisco tour led by Blandina Farley. She's as colorful as the sights and guided us along many delicious spots in the North Beach section. When you go, be hungry. You won' t want to pass up any of the delicious savory and sweet stops on the tour. Blandina is a great tour... More

My family was in San Francisco for a wedding and took Blandina's walking tour of the North Beach section of the city. It was really excellent. She does a terrific job of introducing you to the Italian part of the city - its food, its coffee, its history. Though she does this tour often, she has such a love for... More

We took the morning tour which was about three hours long. Our guide was knowledgeable in the lore of the neighborhood. We stopped at several places and sampled foods, olive oil, fudges, bread, coffee, pasta, pizza. the pizza was the best.
