We did the premium SF tour and were very happy. Long time visitors of SF found neat stuff that we hadn't seen before. The guides were fantastic and the sights were unique. I would recommend this to anyone. Just watch the computer that will double bill you and with their 72 hour rule, you could be surprised.

This was by far the best tour I've ever taken! The tour guide and bus driver were friendly, informative and humble! They gave us ample time to take pictures and actually enjoy the city. I never felt rushed or hurried. It was also very informative and interesting. Perfect amount of history and current events. Loved it and I bet you... More

The premium city tour was well done. The tour covered a lot of ground in short time. Short visit times at each stop were good.

My husband and I did 2 different tours with this company: a Winery Tour and City Tour. The first tour was Napa Experience Tour with Robert Mondavi Winery on a Monday. It was totally awesome! 4 wineries in 1 day, I would not be able to do that myself Out tour guy was Ken. He had so much knowledge and... More

Molly, our tour guide, was most engaging and informative. We took the premium city guide which even got us across that famous red-rust colored bridge to cute Sausalito for lunch. Several photo stops and walks along the way provided a pleasant welcome to this lovely city. The ferry ride at the end, across the bay, capped off a comfortable bus... More

We did the 5 hour city tour and it was fabulous. There is no way we would have seen so much of San Francisco in such a short amount if time by ourselves. The tour was small in numbers which we loved and the bus wasn't huge either. We started with a great ferry ride passing the sights to Sausalito... More

We found this tour much better than the average city bus tour, visiting many of the major sights in the city. Our guide Molly was friendly and her commentary was informative. She got off the bus at each stop and continued her commentary as we walked; she also accompanied us on the ferry ride back to San Francisco from Sausalito,... More

My wife and I just returned from the Napa Valley Wine Tour, and had a terrific day. We visited four wineries including Castello di Amorosa ("the Castle"), which is our absolute favorite. We learned a lot from our tour guide, Ken, who was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the wine industry.... More

We really wanted to go to Muir Woods, and didn't have a car - so we booked the Muir Woods Premium Tour, which included a downhill walk into the woods as well as an overlook for the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands and a ferry ride from Sausalito. Vicky was our guide, and she was eccentric and enthusiastic... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
