Do not book if you can avoid. Due to illness, two in party could not go on the original date. Lost $450 even when we planned to come to the bay area later in the fall. Poor customer service. DO NOT BOOK WITH SFSHUTTLE TOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your comments. To the benefit of our future customers, you booked an Alcatraz combo tour which is completely non-refundable to our company and thus, we would be stuck with the useless, non-transferable Alcatraz tickets. All of our customers know that when booking Alcatraz all sales have to be final, because that is how it's handled industry-wide. More

Our family of five selected this 5 hour tour, as we have 3 younger children. It was perfect for families who want to see the tourist highlights and not have to battle with crowds on a "hop on hop off" tour. You simply board the same shuttle bus which dropped you off with the same small tour group. It was... More

My wife and I enjoyed the tour especially that it was lead by the marvelous guide: Linda. She has shown amazing way on capturing our attention and the way she was telling stories.. just amazing.

I joined recently that tour along with my family and we had an awesome time. Specially for the delightful treatment we received from the tour guides and driver, namely Meg (or is it Mary?) Dunkan and by all means this kind and natural show woman called Vicky who cheered us through out our tour.I have fond memories of all of... More

Much too rushed, about 10-15 minutes for each stop. Driver also gives wrong facts, Tony Bennett was not born in San Francisco.

What started as a miserable trip to San Fran (stolen luggage) ended on a very high note with a wonderful tour from Phil at San Francisco Shuttle Tours. He was funny, interesting and full of tid-bits to heighten our trip to Napa. nice save! We really loved the wineries, especially Mondavi, Andretti and Franciscan. My only suggestion would be to... My husband and I used San Francisco Shuttle Tours to get to Yosemite from San Francisco. I am thrilled that we got to visit Yosemite, and it was worth the long trip. However, we were very unhappy with the way SF Shuttle Tours advertised the tour. They did say it would be a 3 hour train ride to Merced, followed... More

We found this tour while researching options to buy Alcatraz tickets as all other places were sold out. We ended up going with the premium city tour + Alcatraz. We absolutely do not regret in booking it. At $150 per person, it is kind of pricey, but remember it is an all day event, so that takes the sting out... More

On the description and itinerary they state that the train ride is 2-3 hours one way but neglects to mention length of shuttle bus ride,to and from Yosemite, which was 2 hours one way. That was 4 hours that I was not aware of. Checked the site once home and did find that info at bottom of page for all tours... More

Overall, this is a great way to see Yosemite without doing the drive, wondering what to see, etc. We arrived as instructed at 6:40 am just outside the ferry building. Clearly this is the time set because they know some people are always late. The people who showed up at 6:55 were the same people who were late boarding the... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
