Sunday farmers market by the library. Amazing fresh organic fruit at bargain prices, for $2.40 I got four apricots and three plumbs and $5 for a pint of deliciously sweet and absolutely huge blackberries. Lovely fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers bought directly from the growers themselves, what could be better!

My wife and I stumbled upon this market completely by accident and were amazed at the quality of the produce. It is located at San Francisco's United Nations Plaza, along Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets above Civic Center BART Station. This farmers market is very nice and there are definitely a good assortment of vendors with fresh produce... More

We love going to Farmer's Markets... so we had to stop here during our walk of the city. Pretty good, but didn't get too much as we couldn't keep it cool to take home. If you are staying for a while in town it's a good place to get some goodies!

All kinds of produce, ready-made foods, fun things from which to choose! Set with a backdrop of the Embarcadero, Bay, it's a great Saturday morning excursion!

The live, organic produce is simply outstanding and tasty. Check out Francesca's Fresh Produce where you'll find the best organic, unpasteurized, natural almonds. They are extraordinary delicious! Overall, the farmers market offers the "good stuff" from earth.

Well represented by local farmers and local vendors. Out standing products. A must visit if in San Francisco on any Saturday.

I accidentally stumbled upon this Farmers Market this past weekend and I am so glad I did. There were SO many different vendors. All the delicious fruits and vegetables were reasonably priced and the samples were amazing.

...it has the best prices, the greatest variety of produce, and the most vendors. Much better and fresher produce than in supermarkets. Yes, it is in the infamous "Tenderloin" district, but so are many SF wonderful places (Asian Art Museum, main library, concert halls...) and visitors just need to use common sense as in any big city. The market is... More

San Francisco's Farmers market has the freshest fruits and vegetables. Great place to spend a Saturday and eat lunch. We had the most delicious chicken sandwiches, roasted corn salad, and roasted potatoes. Then spent a couple of hours walking along the pier.

We walked through here on Wednesday morning and what a treat! Indescribable amount of high quality produce and locally made products. We had a fabulous time just walking through and trying the samples that everyone handed out. We didn't find many samples at the Ferry Building market. Fruit just picked, candy just made, even kim chee just pickled! Amazing. Great... More
