Housed in an historic Coast Guard Station, the exhibits in the visitor center highlight the amazing wildlife in the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, the threats to the wildlife, as well as what people can do to help protect the sanctuary. Located in a stunning location, with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and direct access to the sandy beach, the Visitor Center is an incredible resource for students and the general public. The center offers a range of dynamic school programs and public programs that excite people to study, explore, and protect the marine environment.

Located in an old Coast Guard Station, this is about as big as one floor of a small home. There are a few exhibits that children might like, nothing special. We were at Fort Point, so since it was close we thought we'd stop by. We called and were given directions, but there were only about 6 parking spots when... More
