GoCar, the World’s First Storytelling CarFold up the map – put away the guidebook – and prepare for a city adventure you won’t soon forget! These clever yellow talking convertibles navigate for you, point out the sights, and tell you about the city’s culture and history. But that’s not all – your GoCar mobile tour guide has a personality and a human voice – it cracks jokes, recommends the good restaurants, and tells you the stories that bring the city to life. It’s like having a “local” give you a private guided tour.GoCar gives clear driving directions using GPS satellite technology. Just follow the friendly audio directions and relax!

We hired our gocar from union square & had a hoot. The staff were helpful & enthusiastic. It's an excellent way to bomb round the city (at 30 mph) & see all the sightsights & to learn some of the history. If you go off the set route you have a map & when you return to the set routes... More

While in SF we decided the best way to see the city was a GoCar tour- and we were absolutely correct! The team at GoCar was super helpful- even though we were in town from Dubai and our friends from Singapore, they made us super comfortable with how to use the cars and get around the city. We did the... More

Every year we go to SF for New Year's day, and this year we chose to use GoCars to tour parts of the City. We had a blast! It's a completely different way to view the city. Some tips: if you are using GoCars in the cooler weather you would do well to bundle up. And I mean BUNDLE UP,... More

This is definitely worth the price, we paid roughly US$140 for two hours and got to speed around the city and learn informative things at the same time. Was a lot of fun and these things reach about 80km/h (50 miles) when your gunning it. Would recommend

My nieces (23 and 28 years old), son (23 years old) and I rented 2 cars for the 3-hour tour. We honestly didn't want it to end and considered renting again the following day. We were lucky that the day was beautiful, if getting a bit chilly the last 1/2 hour. It was really so much fun to take the... More

We were a bit apprehensive when we we arrived at the hire point in Fisherman's Wharf, not helped by the huge amount of waiver stuff we had to sign ... I should really have been travelling with a lawyer! The little cars were easy to drive and we soon got used to them, they kept up with the traffic no... More

The GoCar GPS Guided Tours is the BEST way to get to know the city of San Francisco. The GPS(albeit one out of the three cars rented was not always working) gave facts and directions. The tour allowed us to get a great feel and view of the city. The cons: the red and blue routes that were shown us... More

Fun ride- nervous at first but you get the hang of it very fast-3 blocks. Bring gloves if temp is under 60 degrees. You WILL need them. Guys were great at Union- both in office and the guys working on the cars-showed us how to work the gocar. We ended up doing 3 hours because it was so much fun.... More

Ray is awesome, he stayed half an hour after closing to wait for us (Ray, I'm so sorry). It was cold because it's Dec, but super fun anyway. We actually lived here for 7 months and most of the things we saw on this trip were new to us! The voice GPS requires some common sense (we made a lot... More

My husband and I have lived in SF for a long time. We did the 3 hour tour which loops through Fisherman's Wharf, The Marina, Presidio, Pacific Heights and Russian Hill. We live and play in those neighborhoods so we were very familiar with them to begin with. Even so, we ended up learning new things and had a blast... More
