GoCar, the World’s First Storytelling CarFold up the map – put away the guidebook – and prepare for a city adventure you won’t soon forget! These clever yellow talking convertibles navigate for you, point out the sights, and tell you about the city’s culture and history. But that’s not all – your GoCar mobile tour guide has a personality and a human voice – it cracks jokes, recommends the good restaurants, and tells you the stories that bring the city to life. It’s like having a “local” give you a private guided tour.GoCar gives clear driving directions using GPS satellite technology. Just follow the friendly audio directions and relax!

One of the most fun things to do in a city filled with fun! I highly recommend this as a way to see the city. For cost effectiveness I would do the hop on hop off Big Bus Tour first. These cars are fun to drive and go places the Big Bus doesn't. I rented one on my last day... More

We did the two hour tour from Beach St which included the Golden Gate and Lombard St's zig zag road. Apart from looking hilarious it was an amazing experience. You could stop off and take in the fantastic views or go off route on your own. The tour guidance was superb. We found customer service A1, especially Marina and Den.... More

Just a warning folks, while some people enjoy the these tours, many of the vehicles are in horrible, dangerous condition and customer service is non-existent. Here's our experience after reserving online. They keep nice looking go-cars outside to attract walk-ins so, after waiting for 45 minutes for agents to assist people without reservations, we were finally led to a car... More

We bought 3 tours thru Viator, but it did not indicate that you need a valid drivers license, so I only took my passport and was not able to go on it. The kids were very disappointed to say the least. I called Viator and asked to be more specific in their instructions.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Zuzana, who was kind and helpful- a credit to the company! It was a fun way to get to know San Francisco. Be careful, though. It's really easy to turn a two-hour route into a three hour one.

My wife and I used GoCar during our stay in the Bay. We used the fisherman's Wharf location. The staff was great. They initially ran out of cars (we did not reserve) but Ray was about to squeeze us in. Riding around San Fran was an amazing experience. You can stop and go as you please and enjoy the city... As my husband and I walked down Lombard Street two Go Cars drove down it and immediately my husband was intrigued! We had some time on our last day in San Francisco so we booked a two hour tour on Viator leaving at 10 am. We arrived a bit early and they were able to accommodate us right away. I... More
