This isn't your Dad's baseball park of yesteryear. For those who love baseball, but especially for those who just don't care, you might want to plunk down your money for a fun experience no matter your allegiance. Any one from the Bay Area can tell you that it's not just the building, but the ENERGY of the fans and those... More

Unfortunately the baseball season has not yet srarted so access to the inside was unavailable. We were able to walk around the stadium as see what we could. Very clean and safe area. Sort of reminded me of PNC Park in Pittsburgh the way it is located next to the water. I liked all the plaques around the outside of... More

I am not a huge baseball fan, but I couldn’t leave the States without going to a Baseball game. I really enjoyed the audience and environment. We were in the last row at the top of the stadium, but it doesn’t matter we enjoyed as if we were in the field level. There are lots of good food choices around.... More

We, of course, had to visit a baseball game being in the States as it doesn't really exist in Europe. The game itself I'm not a huge fan of but I really enjoyed the audience and the fans to the teams. Just sitting at your seats taking in all the applauses and children cheering with their parents on their favourite... More

It really does not matter if you are field level, in a box, or in the last row at the top of the stadium ... the views are great. Do remember a jacket when it is cool as the wind can blow like crazy off the water. Overall, great place.

Exciting place to see a ballgame. Lots of good food choices if you are willing to walk around. The ushers are really friendly and helpfull. Really like that the ferry drops off and picks up right outside the gate.

THis baseball park is situated in a newly renovated part of town called South Beach which has been gentrified since the last earthquake disaster. The overhead freeway is gone, replaced with beautiful condo and apartment complexes, walking and biking areas as well as a convenient light rail track. The baseball stadium is perfectly situated in the middle and worth the... More

This is the most beautiful sports complex I've visited. It's an amazing place to see a game and has one of the strongest fan bases in the sport. These aren't bandwagoners, they've been rooting for the teal long before the shiny stadium and championship trophies.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
