Description: Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier...
Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

Let me start by saying we only booked this tour originally because it was one of the packages left last minute for us to get Alcatraz tickets. We even considered skipping the boat tour because we figured it couldn't be that great........AND BOY WERE WE WRONG!!! This was absolutely one of the best things we did over our entire stay... More

We were traveling around California for the summer. The rib trip around the bay was fantastic. Our 12 and 11 year old loved it also. It was by far our favorite highlight of the holiday. Great photos and memories. Charles is also incredibly nice and we really enjoyed meeting him. If you only do one trip in San Fransisco -... More

It was such a great experience working with Captain Charles. He called us to confirm everything at the time of booking, which I thought was going the extra mile. We had unseasonably warm weather, so it was a great time out on the bay. An unforgettable experience! I will recommend to friends and family for sure!

From beginning to end, being out on the San Francisco Bay with Captain Charlie is magnificent! His sturdy zodiac will take you where you need to go! We saw whales outside the GG Bridge and got a fabulous tour of the piers and the sites as seen from the ocean. Captain Charlie is confident and capable, knowledgeable and friendly, helpful... More

Captain Charles was both informative and entertaining. One of our party needed persuasion to come along as is a nervous traveller...she came off having enjoyed every moment. This trip made our stay in San Fran, would highly recommend it to all!

A family of five who all really enjoyed the trip with Captain Charles. Really interesting and informative. The kids loved the speed, the adults loved the tales. All very safe and secure, felt different from the usual bay tour and story with a very local twist and feel. Would definitely recommend for all. A real highlight of our trip.

We had very good conditions for the tour -- sunshine, and not much wind. The boat was fast but the ride was relatively smooth. Captain Charles was very informative about history of San Francisco and the Bay. One of the more fun things we did in San Francisco.

Incredibly charismatic and knowledgeable Captain Charles.. so informative and interesting. cool pontoon boat and very reasonably priced ...The boat ride alone is worth it and the history and information made this a hugely memorable event on our trip

My family loved this tour! Captain Charles is a wonderful guide and just an overall great guy. He even arranged for us to see dolphins on our trip! I have been to the city many times but first time on the Bay Voyager. Will definitely do again!
