Description: Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier...
Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

Did the 90 minutes Bay tour with Charles. We were lucky it was a dry and sunny day though, the foul weather gear was appreciated and kept us nice and warm. We found the boat dock easily behind the aquarium and Charles gave us a warm and friendly welcome. There are public restrooms close by. We saw all the key... More

I've lived in the Bay Area my whole life, and I had never experienced anything like this. The trip with Bay Voayager visits all the famous landmarks of San Francisco Bay (Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, AT&T Park, PIer 39) and shows them from a perspective that is simply unavailable from any other vessel. You really feel the wind in your... More

Captain Charles was absolutely amazing. Very informative and educational. There was a couple youngsters in this trip that were a little "cranky" the way he handled the added stress of the situation was amazing. I would recommend this trip to everyone. In fact it was so good we plan on doing it again. So if you plan on coming to... More

We've been on several bay tours over the years including trips to Alcatraz, a sailing trip, and a tour under The Golden Gate Bridge on a larger boat. Our experience on The Bay Voyager was far better than any other tour. It was fun for the kids and adults. The captain has been on the bay for many years and... More

Capt. Charles was nice, friendly, and funny. Trip was awesome. Went to both bay bridges, saw sea lion colony, and Alcatraz. Great tour, would do it again.

I'm actually a local here in SF but have been on god knows how many boat tours on the bay whenever friends or family come into town. The boat is comfortable and rides easy - the commentating on the boat had the perfect mix of comedy and history, they gave real meaning to sightseeing through explaining the history of things... Will definitely do it again. Must have meant to be cause it was not on the itinerary. Had a blast. If I'm ever in San Francisco again, it will be on the things to do list.

I had a friend visiting and I thought it would be fun to take her into SF and spend our Saturday on the beautiful bay. The Bay Voyager with Captain Charles at the helm, was even better than we'd hoped! The boat is comfortable and fun, zipping across the water. Captain Charles gave us pants and jackets to protect our... More

I was on Pier looking out at the boats and the captain, Charles, saw me standing there and asked if I wanted to join the tour of San Francisco Bay. I had no plans so decided to go along. What a great decision!! Beautiful boat ride, and Charles was a great host and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this... More

So much fun! We had a party of 8 and had a blast. The best way to see the Bay. The boat is great fun - not a barge or slow boat - and can go fast! I highly recommend Bay Voyager.
