Description: Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier...
Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

Had the good fortune to join Captain Charles on his Barbary Coast Beer Tasting Experience on San Francisco Bay. The evening begins by suiting up in proper foul weather and safety gear in preparation for boarding a modern, well equipped, rigid inflatable boat much like those the Coast Guard uses as patrol and rescue vessels. The trip starts by exiting... More

What an exciting adventure! The views of the city from the bay are phenomenal. I've lived in the Bay Area for most of my life and I felt like I was seeing San Francisco for the first time; the perspective from the waterfront at night takes your breath away. The funky Heinolds bar is a eclectic spot that is steeped... More

We had a fantastic time exploring the San Francisco bay on a Bay Voyager tour. Great way to see the sights, lots of insight from funny captain. Kids loved the ride and learned a lot too. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

If you're looking for a spectacular view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge this is a must do attraction. We learned good insights about the history of the bay. Our captain covered all strict safety features. He was extremely friendly and entertaining. I give this tourist attraction my utmost recommendation.

The boat and tour was wonderful. We got so many great pictures of the city, Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz. Charles is an amazing and knowledgable captain - we learned and laughed so much! Highly recommended for groups (we had 6 with us), couples, families… or alone. We will for sure be back for another boat tour when we are... More

We used Bay Voyager to do some filming on the bay. It was brilliant! Charles is a wonderful host and the boat was fully equipped and lots of fun. In many ways it's more fun that going on a bigger boat with bar etc. It's more action packed and if you like the wind in your hair then it's got... More

The ride was comfortable, the captain knowledgeable and we went under the Golden Gate and got close enough to see the whiskers of a sea lion! An incredible experience. Not to be missed!

This was an experience of a lifetime! Captain Charlie is knowledgable, charismatic, and clearly well versed on the water. We not only had an incredible time--learned a great deal and saw amazing parts of the Bay, but felt completely safe the entire time. The Bay Voyager's size offers an intimate--practically one on one tour--of the bay. Captain Charlie took the... More
