Description: Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier...
Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

My wife and I are lifetime locals. We came into SF to celebrate our anniversary and stumbled on this tour of the area. My wife is not a boat person but loved this! So did I as Capt. Charles showed us this beautiful city and surroundings from a vantage point most people never see. He shares his experiences and knowledge... More

Our entire family had a blast on this fun, speedy, informative tour. The 12-person boat makes the tour much more personalized, and since Charles is a native of SF, he has a lot of background about SF general and maritime history. The boat is much more fun than a larger vessel, and we learned a lot along the way! Highly... More

I have lived in the bay area for years and this is by far one of the best trips to do on the San Francisco bay. Not only did I get to see a lot of the major San Francisco landmarks up close but I also got to see some amazing wildlife. The boat is totally safe and clean. It... More

Had the good fortune to join Captain Charles on his Barbary Coast Beer Tasting Experience on San Francisco Bay. The evening begins by suiting up in proper foul weather and safety gear in preparation for boarding a modern, well equipped, rigid inflatable boat much like those the Coast Guard uses as patrol and rescue vessels. The trip starts by exiting... More

We had the pleasure of going on the Barbary Coast Beer Tasting Tour! What a fun adventure. Captain Jennings was so prepared with outer wear for all and fantastic facts and information about the sights. And what beautiful sights to see!!! The trip across the Bay to Jack London Square was just perfect, the Sunset, the company, the waves.. then... More

What an exciting adventure! The views of the city from the bay are phenomenal. I've lived in the Bay Area for most of my life and I felt like I was seeing San Francisco for the first time; the perspective from the waterfront at night takes your breath away. The funky Heinolds bar is a eclectic spot that is steeped... More

We had a fantastic time exploring the San Francisco bay on a Bay Voyager tour. Great way to see the sights, lots of insight from funny captain. Kids loved the ride and learned a lot too. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

If you're looking for a spectacular view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge this is a must do attraction. We learned good insights about the history of the bay. Our captain covered all strict safety features. He was extremely friendly and entertaining. I give this tourist attraction my utmost recommendation.
