Bay Voyager is happy to announce the opening of our new location at Pier 39 in San Francisco! The range of tours offered by Bay Voyager include viewing historic ships, visiting former mooring sites of abandoned gold rush ships, and experiencing active estuaries populated by cargo ships and tug boats. You’ll see the San Francisco waterfront, cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, Under the Bay Bridge to the Port of Oakland, past AT&T Park (Home to the San Francisco Giants) and Back to Pier 39. While Bay Voyager does have specific routes, deviation is an integral part of the experience, making each adventure an engaging and exhilarating encounter.According to owner and captain, Charles Jennings, “we feel there is a need to provide more intimate and individualized tours that travel closer and give more in depth guided tours. By being in a small and agile vessel, guests can have an up close and personal adventure while traveling to all corners of the always-fascinating bay.”

After much indecision we chose this trip to get out on the Bay. It was fabulous don't hesitate! Sit in one of the front 4 seats when you have a chance, and you will get a chance! Charles is entertaining and incredibly informative, he loves this city and it shows!

We went out with Charles in his speedboat to the Pacific Ocean and the bay. Charles was knowledgable and entertaining during the tour. As a local San Franciscan, even I learned a bunch of new stuff. More importantly: I was entertained! Make 90's TV show references, and dress more warmly than you think you need, because you probably need it.

So fun to have you guys on board! I could have spent the entire 90 minutes hitting on 90's pop culture and it was awesome to have someone else on board that gets it. Thank you for join us on the bay and hope to have you back soon.... maybe we can get ALF can join us too! More

If I could give this a 10 then I would. It is simply superb. This rib ride is not to be missed and is an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. Charles the captain is a born and bred san Francisco expert and well made the trip, his knowledge and skill was captivating. All topped... More

There is a reason this trip is #1... it was freakin amazing! We signed up for this trip 4 weeks in advance and I was not eager to pay the $95 price tag but after reading the reviews, visiting the web site and NOT wanting to do the big boat thing, we bight the bullet and booked it. Glad we... More

My mom was visiting from out of town and I wanted to give her a taste of the bay and this was a great way to do it! Tour was given by a local who knows interesting facts about the area and brings a unique perspective. It felt way more personal than the giant tour boats and more adventurous as... More

Wow! We had the most unexpectedly, unforgettable SF Bay cruise. Not only is Captain Charles friendly and attentive, but the ability to get so up close with the Bay and its many famous sights was amazing. The boat was comfortable, clean and we felt completely safe under Captain Charles's command. Prior to boarding we had a full safety briefing and... More

This trip is not to be missed! Capt Charles is the best! We booked for a 10:30am tour and Capt Charles sent us a note asking if we could move to 3:30 -- if we could he would give us $50 off. Unfortunately we could not move our schedule and it was not a problem -- we ended up with... More

So many perspectives you wouldn't get anywhere else. Views under the Golden Gate Bridge are phenomenal. Even went out a mile past the bridge. Fantastic!

Captain Charles was entertaining and had lots of amazing and interesting stories about the area. We sat in the front two seat, which seemed like the best. We got the most air and didn't get too wet. Definitely recommended for all ages.

Not what I expected. More educational than I had thought for a boat cruise, but well worth the knowledge that you get out of it for sure! The boat itself is super fun but be aware that it can be a bit rough on the undercarriage. Would totally do this again.

Thank lungud
