Seriously the sketchiest entrance to a park I have ever been at. Sought refugee in MacDonald's beside entrance which didn't prove to be any better! Met a friend there and we went to a gorgeous park near the Mission with stunning views of the whole city! Maybe it was nice inside but I didnt feel safe there!

Many things to see in this beautiful park, the Japanese Tea Garden, Windmills that originally irrigated the park--gifts from the Queens Victoria and Willamina. Beautiful scenery. Worth the trip!

We took a tour bus and this was one of the attractions we stopped at!!! We only had about 25 minutes here. I would recommend spending an entire day here! There is so much to see and do!! Amazing and stunning place!

This is a pretty nice park, but unless you're in the area, I don't think I'd go out of my way to see it, especially if you live out in the country and see parks like these on a regular basis. Very cool to have something like this surrounded by the steel and concrete of the city, but it may... More

So many options in the park-- conservatory of flowers, science academy, tea garden, picnic in hellman's hollow, visit the bison, watch a toy boat race...how can you go wrong! Bring a jacket, it can be foggy here compared to other parts of the city.

Golden Gate park was a must-see for us. Although the park was very very very large, it was relatively unkept. No landscaping and the grass was unmowed and brown. A very large number of hippie BoHo and Homeless communities found it their home. Slightly unimpressed with the whole park.
