Golden Gate Park it's a perfect place to go if you wanna enjoy the nature and visit some beautiful gardens. The Japanese Tea Garden is really beautiful and make you feel as you are in Japan.

We parked across the street from the homeless people camping under the bushes. Then we rented Segways nearby, and drove around the park. At one end is the beach, and the other end is full of museum type attractions. We talked with a couple that were riding bikes in the park. They suggested renting segways instead due to the hills... Golden Gate Park is one of the several most valuable assets to the city. It has a LOT of attractions, ranging from the DeYoung Museum, the Conservatory of Flowers, the California Academy of Science, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Music Concourse - - all of these are first rate, to natural beauties such as the Stowe Lake and the Western... Yes, you can spend money on wonderful attractions in Golden Gate Park, but there is no expense if you want to enjoy nature and explore. The #5 bus takes one from Market Street to a convenient park entrance. Walk into the deYoung Museum at no cost to enjoy the wire creations of Ruth Asawa and ride the elevator to the... More

Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is a wonderful place. There are museums, a large Children's playground with an old fashion carousel, rose garden, Stow Lake where you could rent a peddle boat, row boat or electric boats, fly casting ponds, archery range, a place for horses, buffaloes and more. If you exit on the south end on 9th Avenue... More

Best place to explore and get away from crowds. In a few hours you'll be able to see beautiful foliage, exercise and check out interesting museums. Head to the beach for a breathtaking sunset.

Everyone needs to get away. How great to be able to do that in the city. Many lakes, bike roads ( many bike rental shop near park), Rent a canoe, rowboat or paddleboat and go for a ride. Have tea in the Japanese tea garden, visit the HUGH greenhouse, or one of the museums in the park.
