There are so many beautiful parts to this park, and even museums. But keep in mind that this is still an urban park. While taking in many of the sights, we caught sights of an interesting cast of characters watching us from behind trees, usually on wooded hills. As such, I would not feel comfortable walking through here alone during... More

Lots of things to do and see. More than one day to see it all. Love the Gardens and the Science etc.

You must visit the Golden Gate Park whenever you visit SF. Whether you like walking around, having a bike tour or relaxing at the Japanese tea garden you'll have a great time.

I may be a little biased as a local, but GG Park is the best park I have ever been to! I have lived here for years and still have not explored all the nooks and cranny's that are like hidden gems throughout this gorgeous, green park. From Buffalos and Lakes to Museums and Gardens, Golden gate truly has it... More

Picturesque and great walking. Lots to do and see within the park. The Palace of Fine Arts is a beautiful building and the many other expos and attractions make it worth the visit!

Loved the glass house with all the orchids and other hot house flowers. Interesting to read the history on the building and to learn that it was a wooden, not metal structure...and the cost at the time of it's construction. Was surprised that my SF friends had never been there.

This is a huge park. I was only able to spend one day here, but I would recommend budgeting at least a couple if you want to enjoy it fully. The Academy of Sciences and the de Young museum are great and very much worth a stop. I love the botanical gardens, very enjoyable to see the various regions represented... More

I took my wife to see some of the spots my school use to take us on field trips, and looked at them with a adult eye this time. There is so much to see and experience, from art works and statues down to Buffalo are in the park. We even got to see a Coyote roaming by the Sutro... More

Beautiful park and a must in my opinion. It is the same thing as visiting New York City and going to Central Park. It was bigger than I thought and you will need at leas couple of house if you want to see most of the attractions.

It's a huge park, must be visited over several days. Lush, green, walkable, just so beautiful. There seems to be no end to this park.
