and lots of flowers. The DeYoung museum has a nice view of the city. The Science museum was worthwhile too, especially for families depending on how much time you have.

What a beautiful way to spend a few hours. $7 per person $5 for seniors and kids to age 17. Free if you live in san Francisco. Best deal is a family pass for $15.00. Plants and trees from all over the world. They could use some picnic table and a couple more bathrooms but I would go back. Parking... More

We spent about 5 hours wandering around and could have spent 10 more. This park is huge! Make sure you check out the AIDS Memorial Park. It's a wonderfully quite reflective place in a bustling city. The Japanese Gardens are beautiful. We also enjoyed wandering through the sculpture gardens. Would love to have spent more time here!

You can spend days in this park and still find things to do. We took a bike ride around the lake and went to the Academy of science, Japanese tea garden and took a go car ride throughout the park. So much fun!

I visit Golden Gate Park each time I am in the city....and this was my first visit to the Botanical gardens. They are spectacular!!! A quiet oasis in the busy city. The redwoods, asian gardens, native California plants and more. So glad I took the time to visit this part of the park.

We went to this park two days in a row as there is a lot to see and do . The museums and gardens are worth a visit but the highlight for us was the Segway tour that we took . It was great fun to tour this huge park on Segway and learn about the various onsite landmarks. The... More

The Golden Gate Park is very beautiful and nice to see that someone had the foresight to preserve this area of San Francisco. The botanical gardens are beautiful and interesting.
