I thoroughly enjoyed Kathy's tour. It's a insightful and thoughtful tour by a true local. The area has a rich history which Kathy was proud to share with visitors. Recommended.

I have taken the Cruisin' the Castor Tour twice in the past. The first time the tour guide was the fascinating Trevor Hailey who created the tour. The second time I took the tour I was a bit apprehensive, wondering if it could be as good without her presence. I'm glad to say that I wasn't at all disappointed. Kathy... More

We did the tour with Kathy on July 14th and had a wonderful experience. It's great to hear stories of how the district has changed and evolved over time and how people have embraced the area. Visiting places that have had an impact on the rights movement for all members of the community was personally very uplifting and showed me... More

We joined the tour offered by Kathy and it was very educational and fun. We got to know so much about how it all started in Castro and how many things really changed with Harvey Milk and what he started many have worked on since then - and how much have changed over the years. Also much about the life... More

We couldn't believe this excellent tour isn't listedright on all the "Things to do in San Francisco" lists. It is unique to the city, rich in history and a "must see" for anyone interested in human rights. While the accomplishments of Harvey Milk are central to both the tour and civil rights progress, the broad spectrum of human rights history... More

A must for everyone that visits SF - young, old, straight, gay, etc. My 16 year old son and I went to SF for Spring Break to attend MLB games - the rest of the time would be filled in with "tourist stuff". Kathy made this event one of the highlights of our week. Most of the people on our... More

I did the Crusin the Castro tour in the 5th of March 2014 (yes it's taken me awhile to get back on here and rate it!) and I had a great morning. Kathy is very knowledgable about the area and the history and takes you to all the important landmarks you want to see and even took some pictures of... More
