This was the third time I had been on this tour, the first since Kathy took it over and it was first time for my partner. It is very current and still very entertaining and informative no matter how many times you have been on the tour or how many times you have watched Milk. Loads of historical info, a... More

This is the 2nd time I took this tour. It still is an amazing tour about the history and the current community of the Castro. Kathy is such a nice lady who will make you feel right at home. Anything you want to know you can ask her! Don't be shy :). I recommend this tour to everybody who goes... More

I learnt so much during the tour and had loads of fun. Kathy gave such insight into the colourful area with loads of historical and cultural information but also humour. It was one of the best experiences I had during my stay. Do it!

This wonderful walk around the Castro really gave you a flavour of the history of the place, as well as showing what a tight knit community it is now. It taught even those that thought they knew everything about the district something new, and showed what an important place this was and still is in the fight for equal rights.... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, it was extremely informative and fun. Kathy was a wonderful guide as well as a local who provided lots of information on the neighborhood and the community as well. The pace was leisurely and enjoyable, and covered much of the vibrant neighborhood.

I was a little unsure whether this tour would live up to our expectations but it really did. Kathy was so friendly, warm, knowledgeable and funny. We walked around the Castro at a very leisurely pace. Even our 'exercise shy' friend could not complain about the pace and length of walking. The majority of the tour was centred around the work... More

I have taken the Cruisin' the Castor Tour twice in the past. The first time the tour guide was the fascinating Trevor Hailey who created the tour. The second time I took the tour I was a bit apprehensive, wondering if it could be as good without her presence. I'm glad to say that I wasn't at all disappointed. Kathy... More
