Kathy was a fantastic tour guide and it generally was a really great few hours of thought and new understanding all wrapped up in a well laid out tour of a cool neighborhood. We highly recommend it!

An incredible, interesting and eye-opening tour that I can't rate highly enough. Worth every cent and would recommend to absolutely everyone. I definitely list this as one of my fondest memories from a month-long trip to America. Kathy was so friendly and knew so much about the history of the area and the community. She was clearly a part of... More

We did this tour several months ago when visiting San Francisco and it was worth the effort. Our guide Kathy was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history, facts and insight into the local area and the culture.

Kathy took a group of us, some who were visiting, and some who live here, around the Castro last week and it was such a treat. As a 10-yr SF resident, I learned so much about the community in which I live, and Kathy's storytelling and passion were outstanding. Highly recommended!

Although we have visited San Francisco and the Castro many times, this was the first time we took this tour. It was a great experience from beginning to end, made extra enjoyable as there were only three people on the tour! Kathy, the tour guide was well informed and engaging throughout the tour! We learned so much about this great... More

The Cruisin' The Castro Walking tour was excellent. Kathy is a very charming and charismatic person. Moreover, being an long-term activist herself, she has a brilliant knowledge of the history of the district. Her stories make the Castro and its history come to life. During our tour, we even ran into Allan Baird. Kathy introduced us and we had a... More

This fantastic, educational tour is well worth your time. I was surprised at the local history information that I'd never heard before. Our kind and informative guide Kathy knows all about current events in the Castro as well as it's history. I bought this tour as a birthday gift for friends from out of state & they enjoyed it very... More

I had a fantastic time learning about the history of the Castro area and it's significance in the worldwide gay liberation movement. Kathy is an excellent guide and brought such a personal touch to the tour, especially being one of the directors of the rainbow honour walk. In fact, during our tour, she even bumped into a friend of hers... More

This was the first time to experience this tour for both my partner and myself. We were met by the very welcoming and humble Kathy. Kathy is extremely entertaining and knowledgeable in her many experiences of the Castro District / Community. The 2 hour tour left us with a far greater knowledge of the Castro District and it's colourful past... More

This was the third time I had been on this tour, the first since Kathy took it over and it was first time for my partner. It is very current and still very entertaining and informative no matter how many times you have been on the tour or how many times you have watched Milk. Loads of historical info, a... More
