The market was great! It is everything all the other reviewers have said but go inside the building. Many of the places inside that offer food and coffee are supplying the rest of San Francisco and if they aren't suppliers they have been on food network for more than one great reason. We spent a day eating our way through... More

Great views of the Bay Bridge and a great Farmer's Market with lots available. It was a great Saturday morning--crowded, but not so crowded that it was not enjoyable.

I've been to many farmer's market but this is by far the best. To call it a farmer's market is so underrated because it's so much more than that. It's located at the pier at near Market St. The building hold businesses that sell hand and home made goods. And then on Saturday morning they have vendors outside selling fruits,... More

We visited on a Saturday morning...what a hopping place! So many wonderful vendors selling everything from coffee to specialty foods to flowers and so much more. Beautiful assortment of flowers and plants too. A must see and go hungry!

On our week vacation in San Francisco, we decided to spend our Saturday morning at the farmers market. What a treat. Samples of fresh fruits and various other foods everywhere. We purchased cherries and apricots to enjoy on our trip. We also got some freshly made goat cheese and crackers and of course some almond toffee candy which was delicious!... More

We walked on a Saturday morning down Market street from the Union Square area(back by tram) A very busy market, lots to taste and eat.As the morning progressed long queues at the more popular stalls formed and by lunch time swamped..so start early. We found the restaurants pricey, order from the stalls.

I knew I wanted to go here on my SF trip, so Saturday morning was blocked off for the farmers' market. We took a bus from our union square hotel & we arrived around 10:30am and it was busy already! We had more things to do after the market so I didn't pick up any fresh fruits/vegetables, but I'm sure... More

Great for a visit on a Saturday morning, really fresh produce, great coffees and why not grab some breakfast whilst you're there.

Lots of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. Not just for the locals, but if you're staying in a hotel with a kitchenette, stock up! Saturday's are best.

Really nice place to visit, lots of stalls, good food, relaxed and friendly - not as touristy as the other Pier areas
