Fabulous area

Had a fantastic Vietnamese lunch here. Lots of artisan stalls here and the atmosphere is buzzing. Fresh food, bread, cheese, chocolates - you name it, someone will be selling it!

Awesome farmers market. Great booths with great food and other products. It was pretty busy. I wouldn't bring a stroller. Try all the fruit. It isn't created equal. I wanted to buy everything. a ton of fresh products and cool jewelry too.

This is a great stop along the bay for good food and other things. Great finds along the entire hall, including enormous oysters, good wine, and other good eats. Worth the stop.

Spent over an hour here wandering about the stalls and checking out all the unique items in the indoor stalls. Well worth stopping in for a look and even though we didn't plan on buying anything the temptation was just too great as is the olive oil and and Shitake Mushroom Jerky I ended up bringing home.

This is my one mandatory thing in San Francisco. It could be the best all around Farmer's Markets in the country. It has everything produce, flowers, plants, mushrooms, meat, fish, baked goods, cheese, spices, food cooked to order, prepared food, etc .....plus you cannot beat the setting. It's located in front of, along side of and behind the Ferry Building.... More

Had some time to waste on a Saturday morning and was very happy with my choice. Don't eat before coming down here. Lots of eateries and snack shops to choose from. I ended up stocking up for a evening meal in my hotel room and a few things to hold me over on my morning flight back east. Lots of... More

We were on our way to the Golden Gate on our rented bikes and saw all the commotion there on Saturday morning. Stopped for coffee and ended up there for an hour, tasting local fresh fruit and other food! Really good, but got too crowded later, so go early! Will suggest this as your first stop on any Saturday in... More

Amazing place! The food stalls were fantastic. Would have loved to try all the foods there, especially the Hog Island Oyster bar, but the line up was ridiculous.

Lots of fruit and vegetables on display, as well as other locally produced food items, with plenty of samples to try. Well-worth a browse inside and outside the Ferry Building and you can grab something to eat while you are there - there's plenty of choice. We walked to Coit Tower from the far side and then down the stairs... More

For a foodie it is like you have died and gone to Heaven. The produce is amazing both outside and inside, the street food of such a quality you want to quit your job and move to SF just to have this close by.
