We had walked over from harbor court hotel. Second tent was sampling corn pizza. Would never have thought corn on a pizza would be good. It was! Got a plate of scrambled eggs, applewood bacon and tomatoes on a baguette. Very good. Saw lots of varieties of fruit and vegetables. Lots of people though, so go early.

It's great venue for all things Californian with a huge range of stalls and food to try and buy. It's busy so best get there early but it is certainly worth a visit even if it's just to take in the smells and sights.

I went on a Saturday, and sampled lots of fresh fruit, among other things some delicious pluots which were a completely new aquaintance. Had great taco at one of the stalls, as well as some good fruit drinks. It's all about kale in San Francisco, it seems - and a lot of the specialty hipster organic stuff was very expensive.... More

This market has class and a broad range of fantastic local product and produce...fresh produce, olive oil, meats, fish, breads, coffee, cheese, confectionery and ice cream not to mention loads of other thoroughly interesting local products. Restaurants are also great.

Really enjoyed the farmers market. it was above average as far as farmers markets go and a fun way to pass the morning leisurely. I really enjoyed my tamale's at Donna's (sorry I don't remember her full stall name but she was located beside the Jewish deli stall out front on the right side of the building). Give them a... More

SF has great farmers markets. You will find fruits and vegetables you rarely see here. Definitely don't miss the peaches. They are delicious. The vendors are very friendly and kids have lots of fun. Try and see all the main farmers markets in SF if you have time.

As one can expect Farmer's Market in San Francisco is a lively place to go with people shopping for fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, flowers, and so forth. Local farmers from around the San Francisco Bay area bring their goods to market to sell. With the mix of locals and tourists, its a lively place to go. People sometimes come... More

I was here with my family on a pleasant Saturday morning last Spring. We joined in with the other families and couples crowding the market, and had an enjoyable time shopping for the fresh produce, flowers, meat, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, jams and herbs. Many of these items are organically grown---and delicious. (Free samples abound.) You can pick up a free... More
