Great place for lunch

This is a great p[lace to go especially if it is raining as it is covered. There are many shops and specialty restaurants for your enjoyment.

Attn Travelers: This is a no brainer thing to do alone, together, or with a family. So much to look at, taste at. Outside vendors or inside the Ferry Building. I never get tired of coming here. Across the street is the setup for craft vendors. The terminal for ferries is located here also. It is very easy to do... More

I always enjoy visiting the Saturday market here. There are a number of merchants with a great selection of produce. Most of the vendors have samples which is a fun way to try something different. Every time I visit there is always a fruit or vegetable that I am not familiar with. One can pick up produce, cheese, seafood and... More

Ferry Plaza, both inside and out is just about the best place on earth for food fanatics. The outside farmers market on Saturdays features great vegetables and fruits, though the smoked fish stand is incredible. Inside Hog Island Oysters, Cow Girl Creamery, Rancho Gordo Beans. There's great bread, a wine shop, chocolates. Everything you could need for a great picnic!... More

This is a great farmer's market. This market offers an incredible selection of fresh vegetables, meats, honey, confections and fresh flowers. It would be easy to spend many hours here. There is a lot to look at and buy- bring plenty of cash.

The ferry plaza farmers market is a year round foodies delight, All types of food restarants and specialty places. Outside daily are the fresh prepared "fast food" booths San Francisco style. I always take a serenity break at the Imperial Tea room...ever type of tea on Earth. The tea is served traditionally from a sipping cup. Bon Appetit!

This market was filled with local fruits and vegetables. If I had a place to store this food while I was traveling I would have gotten a lot more out of it.

Farmers market outside...great variety, high quality products and friendly helpful vendors. Inside a diverse and balanced selection of great and unique products and services. Vendors available to talk to and ask questions. One of our favorite things we did.

This is a great farmers market whether one has a kitchen or not. If one is on holidays and not looking to get fresh veg, fruit, meats, seafood don't miss this. The selection of foods to take home and prepare are outstanding, the bounty of California's agriculture and mostly organic is here. But likewise the offering of foods prepared right... More

Beautiful location with a view of the Bay Bridge. Food stands to satisfy every appetite and tables and chairs available to sit at to eat your finds and enjoy the people watching. Artisanal cheeses, produce and other beautiful items for sale here. Obviously, also the place to catch a ferry to take you across the bay. Stumbling on this market... More
