If you're in SF on a Saturday morning, DON'T miss the farmer's market at the Ferry Building. There, you can pick up fresh veggies and fruits, and craft items made by locals. The Ferry Building alone is a terrific attraction. Pair it with the Farmer's Market, and you will have a wonderful SF morning. It's all good! You won't be... More

You have the best farmer’s mkt and cheaper than the one in Santa Monica, Hollywood or OC. We started with sour cherry and pear and raspberry galettes from city bakery. I was really looking for Della Fattoria and I even walked by them but I didn’t notice it was them. I like the sour cherry one very much. We also... More

I loved this market. First of all, it is around the Ferry Building which is always fun to visit. The market has great fresh food, drinks, interesting goods and a fun place to people watch. More

Great farmers market with lots of organic products. Lots of food choices with local restaurants having stalls serving breakfast items. Gets very crowded but it is worth it. More

We enjoyed the visit, however this market is not like the one in Philly, Barcelona or London. This is more like a mall. We bought a crab in the fish shop and quality was not good. I better recommend to buy crab in Fisherman Warf More

When you get there, head to the Blue Bottle Coffee Co. The line will be huge, but it is well worth the wait. The mocha is especially good. Next, just wander around and soak in all the different vendors, sights, and aromas. We like the Cowgirl Creamery cheeses. If you want to eat lunch there, which I would recommend, eat... More

This is a nice market to spend a few hours walking, people watching and eating. There is plenty of small shops and restaurants if you get hungry. More

We vacationed, in Dec 2011, in SF (family of six) and included a visit to the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. Only on Saturday, many area restaurants set up in outside booths. They sell several of their main dishes - what a treat and choice! More
