The ferry plaza farmers market is a year round foodies delight, All types of food restarants and specialty places. Outside daily are the fresh prepared "fast food" booths San Francisco style. I always take a serenity break at the Imperial Tea room...ever type of tea on Earth. The tea is served traditionally from a sipping cup. Bon Appetit!

This market was filled with local fruits and vegetables. If I had a place to store this food while I was traveling I would have gotten a lot more out of it.

Farmers market outside...great variety, high quality products and friendly helpful vendors. Inside a diverse and balanced selection of great and unique products and services. Vendors available to talk to and ask questions. One of our favorite things we did.

This is a great farmers market whether one has a kitchen or not. If one is on holidays and not looking to get fresh veg, fruit, meats, seafood don't miss this. The selection of foods to take home and prepare are outstanding, the bounty of California's agriculture and mostly organic is here. But likewise the offering of foods prepared right... More

Beautiful location with a view of the Bay Bridge. Food stands to satisfy every appetite and tables and chairs available to sit at to eat your finds and enjoy the people watching. Artisanal cheeses, produce and other beautiful items for sale here. Obviously, also the place to catch a ferry to take you across the bay. Stumbling on this market... More

If you've never been to this farmer's market, you will be pleasantly surprised by all the vendors and the wonderful fresh produce, flowers, cheese and meat. The view of the ocean is very pretty here and your people watching skills could be turned into a new art form. I bought a fun tote bag made from recycled juice containers and... More

The external market was good. Open air, great day but .... inside it was packed. There are dozens of shops and you have to stop at each one.

Ahhhhhhhh beautiful produce and everything Artisanal especially since its next to the Ferry building which is filled with delicious food. Lots of food vendors with local dishes of all sorts. Come hungry and share plates. Also pick up some fresh fruit n veggies from the rich bounty of Northern California has to offer.

One of the best farmer's markets that I have ever been to in my life outside of Paris. Enjoyed the diversity. Loved the coffee. Wish I had brought another carry on to bring home more goodies. Wonderful service and nice crowd. A must go if you like to eat and especially if you have access to a kitchen...the produce looks... More

Went here on business's trip - strolled the market and bought some breakfast, including a gluten free salmon bagel and fresh juice and hand pressed coffee. Great fun to peruse the shops and eat local and fresh good.
