I personally didn't find it too much interesting. The building itself is very beautiful and it is a historic place but it doesn't feel anything inside. Some shops and cafes and that's it. I was expecting more to it but I really was disappointed

So glad we visited the Ferry Building. The architecture is beautiful inside and out, and there's so much to see (inside and out). They have an outdoor farmers market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; but with so many vendors inside the building too, I think it would be worth the time to go on any day of the week. We... In a city that has become increasingly dirty (my biggest gripe about Living in SF and I am embarrassed for visitors), the Ferry Building is a well maintained and fun facility with spectacular views of SF Bay. It is great fun to grab a sandwich and eat outside on a sunny day and watch the ferries come and go. There... More

I really enjoyed it for the people, products and the food variety! I would say a way bigger variety then other big farmer's markets we've been at. If you're into seafood welcome to heaven!

Not as quaint as some smaller town markets it is still a very visually pleasing market set against the backdrop of the Ferry Building. The items seemed very pricey. The artists set up across the street were of more interest.

A few hours of fun. Several places to eat, fast food that is not the usual. Fresh farm food, candy and more. We always stop by just to enjoy the people watching.

Loved all the little shops. Got some one of a kind art and even various olive oils that were TSA approved. They even ship wine wherever you need it if it cant go on the plane. The outdoor bathroom was a great idea. After each person, it cleans and sanitized the whole bathroom

Never miss the opportunity to visit this market while in the city. You name it, they have got it. From breads, cheeses, farm produce, flowers, meat, poultry, fish, pasty, ice cream, specialty grocery, wine, cookware and restaurants. Wonderful place to visit, have lunch and enjoy the fresh produce. Spoke with one of the vendors who says they have to pass... More

If you ever wonder why SF restaurants are so good, then just take a walk thru the farmers market at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero. The variety of fresh, locally grown food products on display is almost overwhelming. For the visiting tourist, who might regret not being able to buy a bunch of stuff to cook, there are several... This old port building now contains a market with a number of stalls where small and artisan food-makers can sell their stuff. There are lovely stalls for cheese, meat, salami/hams, fish, olives, oils and so on. All very tasty, but none of it cheap - buy some bread, ham and cheese to make yourself a lunch and it'll cost as... More
