I had never done this before but what a great way to see the city. Jump on or off at whatever stops you like. Pass is good for 24 hours. Narrated as well, and very informative. Worth the money -

Works out well for getting a feel for the city & finding where you want to go. We did the 48 hour package so that we could go to Sausalito & also do the night tour which was interesting. They are not kidding when they tell you to dress warmly! It's very cold going across the bridges at night. My... More

Big Bus was helpful in navigating the city however if Jack is narating the tour you might want to hop off. I know more about him than I know about the city. Fortunately, you can change the channel and listen to the prerecorded citys history. ...Jack wants to be a cowboy next halloween, Jack dropped out of college, Jack is... More

We like taking bus tours in a new city to get an overview and we're looking forward to this. We boarded the bus and for the first 45/60 minutes it was great! The guide (who said it was his 3rd day) was funny! My teenagers thought he was hysterical! Then we got off (it was a hop on hop off... More

The dynamite ticket is the go at $55 for 48hours. Sausalito trip is excellent and commentary entertaining and informative. It also includes night tour and entry to Madame Tussauds. Make sure you rug up as very cold.

My wife and I have taken bus tours all over the world, and we decide to go local with the Big Bus Tour in our home state. Dependable and pleasant service. The night tour to Treasure Island was very memorable. The guide was articulate, knowledgable, and humorous. Wonder photos of the city and Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. The other... More

It's a good way to see a lot of San Francisco in a short time. We got our tickets at the Ferry Building and walked a few blocks to find the nearest bus stop. We got our earphones but didn't figure out (and weren't told) that you had to use channel 11 to hear the live commentary until we got... More

We had a great time on our tour! We were on a cruise and only had a short time to experience the city. Joseph was our tour guide and he was very knowledgable and had a great personality. Loved how he recommended places to visit or eat. It was a long tour, but very interesting (It can get very cold... More

Took the Big Bus Tour from our crusie ship, Norwegian Pearl, and took in all the sights of San Francisco and Sausalito, from Knob Hill to the Golden Gate, Fisherman's Wharf to the Haight-Ashsbury District and everything in between. It was a "hop on-hop off" experience that enabled us to suti ourselves. The open air top of the double decker... More
