We bought a 2-day pass through the concierge at the hotel. We figured if we had the extra day we could use it to move around the city easily. First, the bus only can to the hotel for pick-up 2 times. 8:15 and 9:45 am. We missed that. So we had to walk to one of the stops (behind City... More

We enjoyed this bus tour. The buses came frequently and were not overcrowded. Our first bus had a recording to tell you about the sights, the rest of the buses we were on had a live tour guide giving information about the area. This was much more interesting. My only complaint was that the bus stops were a few blocks... More

Good way to get around the city. The 48HR deal is better, you get the night tour, Sausalito trolley access, and hop on hop off privileges...I enjoyed the live guided tours more than audio, but the audio is nice as well. Just be sure to grab a free headphone from driver or ask for it.

I didn't want to give this 1star! 1st u get sucked in by all the salespeople on the street (although we decided ahead and had a coupon), then with a bus sitting there in front of you, you're told the line is a qtr of a block away and at least 100 people are in front of you! They tell... More

The tour gave much information of the important places it goes by. My complaint is in the way they handle people coming in or out the bus, it is madness people trying to cut in through the back door. Also there are two stops that say Lombard street, they need to make it clear to passengers which one is for... More

I am a fan of the Big Bus Tours around the world, and I was excited to take the tour in San Francisco, especially given my trepidation with driving in SF on a weekend. For the money, this tour is a great value - especially with the Dynamite ticket that gives you 48 hours of hop-on/hop-off ability, the night tour... More

Our tour guide Stacy was totally awesome funny and super super nice and professional. We did not know we could not use a credit card for a tip and we felt really bad. Please do something special for Stacy please!

The tour itself was excellent - lots of information from our guides (Will and his trainee, Clint). Went on the 7pm tour so caught the end in the dark, equally beautiful. Warning: extremely windy/chilly by the evening so lots of layers/hats if you're going up top. Also, the build up to the actual tour was very vague too. Booked it... More

Booked the Big Bus Tour for July 17 -18. Went to Alcatraz on the 17th which was a very nice attraction. Road the Big Bus on the 18th. We got off the bus at the Golden Gate bridge and took the little bus to Sausalito which seemed to take forever due to a stop to take pictures - the bus... More

They oversold tickets for this day. All buses were way overcrowded. Had to wait and they let people on when there weren't seats. I thought it odd that they put people on with no where to sit and then the guiding system said to please stay seated that it was dangerous. Other tour buses with the same routes were not... More
