Ok, for those looking for a "premium" golf course, this one isn't for you. The greens have lots of stray weeds and the fairways aren't always rewarding (dry grass, bald patches), but if you want to play in one of the California's best cities, and pay less then $50, this one is for you! Picturesque, scenic and hilly, this is... More

This is a favorite walk-on course for me, especially early morning. The course could be kept in better condition, but who looks at the course? The front 9 offers several glimpses of the city and Marin headlands while the back nine has one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge available. The patio overlooking the 18th is a... More

I drove through the course a number of times on my way to the VA Hospital. Finally got to play the course one day. I liked it, I've played it again once, but it is a little pricey for the condition of the course. The good news is you can get on and play fairly quickly. Some fun holes and... More

Score 6 for scenery. It's so beautiful that the obvious faults don't matter that much. There are some challenges here, with condition, lack of tee markers, and rude golfers. However, the price is a bargain, the staff is very nice, and did I mention the scenery and views don't get better anywhere?

Had the most beautiful day at Lincoln Park! Hard to believe you can get such views of the entirety of San Francisco from one place - ocean, golden gate, downtown, trees. The course is challenging, no flat lies, greens not flat, some roughness of condition. But don't believe some of the really bad reviews of this place, it's a fun... More

If you want to play a nice round of golf for a good price ($80 for eighteen, a cart a & club rental) then this is for you. Many of the holes have great views of San Francisco bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. The course in neatly kept with nice elevation changes and wide fairways. The greens needed a... More

Each time we come out to SFO, we play Lincoln Park. We always come back because it's such a beautiful course, scenic, the ocean, bridge, etc. We bring our cameras and get some wonderful pictures. For a muni, it's nice and we noticed this time some improvements have been made. It would help if each tee box had a marker,... More

It's Muni golf at it's best, no fancy bag boys to meet you, restaurant is for real San Franciscans. The Professional here has little to work with but has managed to make it a real Muni experience. Playing Lincoln takes a shot maker not a bomber to score as the course is not very long with the exception of a... More

I`m not a good Golfer, so playing this course and not feeling too intimidated or rushed by others behind us was a bonus. The course has the option of walking or cart, and was fairly empty when we played, probably due to the excellent warm weather, that for some reason (real) Golfers don`t enjoy playing in. The views are quite stunning,... More

Played three days in a row last month, it's worth it for the views alone. I have played Torrey Pines South and Bethpage Black, and Lincoln Park ranks with them for scenary and uniqueness. The course is wrapped around the Legion of Honor museum at the top and there are sailors and Chinese memorials sprinkled on the fariways. It's hilly and... More
