A colleague and I who are in the hotel business in San Francisco took the tour at the invitation of the owners of Grayline San Francisco. It exceeded my expectations in every way. We spent 1 hour and 15 minutes at Muir Woods (which is plenty of time) and were pleasantly surprised by several "bonus" stops that we hadn't expected.... More

Very comfortable bus - with a bathroom. Very knowledgeable, congenial guides. Our guide made a couple of 'bonus' stops at scenic outlooks.

We had these tours booked through out travel agent. The wine tour was a bit of a slow start, it was meant to leave at 9 am but didn't leave till 9.30, some people got lost trying to find there way to the tour. Our guide was really good and the 3 wineries were good, at one let you try... More

We had a horrible experience with this company. I would avoid at all costs! We used this company because it was part of the City Pass deal. We planned our whole day around the "Hop on-Hop off" feature but that was made difficult due to no signs of where to meet the bus and no actual times. The whole day... More

Russian tour guide difficult to understand. i missed about half of what was said. He also informed me that Gorbachev was paid millions by the US to destroy the Soviet Union, and that global warming in a hoax and a sham. I don't need to hear Fox News propaganda on my vacation

Stop 1 was near out hotel, so headed to pick up tickets from the miserable guy on the door. No clear timetable buses just seem to turn up, went to stop 3 and transferred to the bus to the Sausalito loop. This loop was the best, small buses and run on time. Stopped in Sausalito for about an hour. Jumped... More

I was able to get discounted ticket from another tour operator for this tour. So I paid 75$ for Ultimate City Tour with Bay Cruise. It was worth it. The city tour was hop-in hop-off style. I think their other tour bus broke. The guide was knowledgeable. Told so many stories about SF . Riding the golden gate bridge on... More

The only reason we booked Gray Line tours was because we were trying to get a slot for the Alcatraz Night Tour. It came packaged along with a City Tour, which is fine, given that it was my first time to SF anyway. We were informed that the City tour starts at noon - great! We were looking forward to... More

I would like to clarify a point and help you understand the confusion. You booked your tour thru Viator not Gray Line of San Francisco, as Gray Line of San Francisco does not offer a city tour/evening Alcatraz Tour, Viator offers sells the product and we operate it. Since it is not one of our regular tours that information would... More
