I like to use the tour buses to get an overview of a new city, and the Grey Line Hop On Hop Off bus did that, but just barely. It is ok if you are looking for a way to travel from place to place without multiple cab or public transportation rides. However, we were very disappointed that there was... More

We took the gray line with the 48 hour pass. All of the tours (we completed 4) were good and they covered the main attractions. The buses came every 20 minutes so no problems hopping on and off. The team of Matt (guide) and Mike (driver) was outstanding! Matt was really knowledgeable, and incredibly witty and funny! Matt was able... More

Embarrassingly rude sales staff at Union Square. One of the other tour companies had problems with its bus and the Greys staff were ridiculing the affected customers, laughing out loud at them and telling them what a bad choice they made. No wonder Grays have such a poor rating – their staff were horrible.

We got the 24 hour pass so we could hop on and off where we wanted to sight-see. Because of that we got to experience the tour guide stylings of about 6 guides but only 2 of them were good. The other not so great thing is that if you want to loop around they make you get off and... More

Purchased two day on/off tour of San Fransisco with the intention of getting a better understanding for the history of the old city. The first tour guide, Charlie, was somewhat knowledgeable but was to interested in trying out newly written (and not good) jokes while being a DJ (props, the music tied to SF peeps). So after a 2.5 hour... More

Excellent tour of Muir Woods with a stop in Sausalito. Adolfo was our driver and guide. He was extremely knowleable, and made the tour a lot of fun. Great sense of humor and super accomodating. Wonderful experience. We highly recommend Adolfo!

Fabulous!!! Thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the bus tour. It incorporated all of the main points of interest in this wonderful city. The best part was the commentary provided. It was very informative and intuitive and quite humorous at times. Mike H and EJ were the best!!! Thanks for and awesome tour guys. We highly recommend it😊

We used Gray Line tours for 2 trips to see Monterey/Carmel & a tour of the city. The drivers were informative & entertaining. The Monterey trip was extremely slow due to heavy traffic heading out to Monterey which resulted in our visit to the aquarium being shortened. The driver managed to negotiate times & keep all passengers happy. One point... More

A shout-out to our guide Marquis, a friendly, hardworking man and aspiring rapper. He made even the lulls in the tour (driving thru tunnels, sitting in an extra minute of traffic) enjoyable. The service is professional and convenient. Unfortunately, the loop is one-way, so it is not convenient to, say, travel from fisherman's wharf to union square or chinatown.

I booked a San Francisco local tour to Yosemite Park for 2D1N via CityDiscovery, when I arrive the local supplier (Gray Line) and shown them my confirmation voucher. They said they never had my booking. Both of Gray Line & I tried to call CityDiscovery the 24hr hotline, but no people pick up the phone nor we can leave message... More
