SoSF is your #1 source for all things biking San Francisco. We know the city's best bike routes, especially the ones that go around the hills. We show you San Francisco's wild history and modern trends, including food, art, music, kooky local politics, and, of course, all things bicycles. Our guided bike tours focus on the city's neighborhoods and include: Unique history, diverse neighborhoods, Victorian architecture, public art, awesome bikes, & tasty local cuisine. Fun, friendly, local guides lead you through safe, bike-friendly routes that go around those infamous hills. Discounts for students, teachers, and military. We offer 3 guided tours in spring and 4 in summer: Heart of the City: 3-3.5 Hrs, $65/person, about 9 miles: Explore the city's interior neighborhoods including the Mission, Haight-Ashbury, and Civic Center. The Classic: 4.5-5 Hrs, $89/person, about 12 miles: Everything the Heart of the City has plus the Castro, SoMa, some additional stops, and a lunch break to taste delicious local cuisine. 7X7: 5.5-6 Hrs, $99/person, 17-18 miles with a stop for lunch. This tour is our epic day out on the bikes circumnavigating the city! The Bay Roller: (Summer only) 4.5-5 Hrs, $89/person explores the culture and history of San Francisco's northeastern neighborhoods and famous waterfront landscapes.

Took the "Heart of the City" tour, which lasted just over 3 hours. We saw many parts of the city at a leisurely pace - the Civic Center, the Mission, Upper Market, Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, and ended in Alamo Park. We were introduced to "The Wiggle", an indirect route to get up to Golden Gate Park, where we would... More

Do not hesitate!! This tour is amazing, San Fran is made for bike riding and I not think of a better way to see this incredible city!!! Josh was so knowledgable and it was a great insight into the city, culture & people. I don't think we would of been able to learn and see what we did on our... More

My boyfriend and I did the 18 mile tour (their longest tour at the time of posting this) and had a blast! Our guide, Josh, was knowledgeable about every area we rode through, was extremely fun, also very caring about the riders in the group, for example, he took special time to explain the areas in Spanish to a gentleman... My sister and I did the classic tour and could not be happier with our experience! Josh was a wonderful and down to Earth tour guide. We learned so much in each neighborhood and really appreciated his patience and easy going attitude. We stopped at Hot Cookie in the Castro, and Food Trucks for lunch. I would definitely do this... We went on the Classic Tour on the 28th of December 2014 with Daniel as our guide and I cannot recommend it enough!! The ride was at a very comfortable pace and I did not once feel like I was too tired from the cycling to enjoy the sights around me. The 4.5-5 hours were incredibly enjoyable and passed in... More

You must do this bike tour! My fiance and I did the Heart of the City Tour with SoSF and absolutely loved it. We had a fun group of people and our guide, "V" was so knowledgeable and funny. He really knew a lot about the city and brought a great vibe to the tour. The tour was perfectly paced.... More

We attended the 7x7-tour, and it was excellent! Our guide Beebe showed us the beauty of San Francisco with great passion and knowledge. The trip is not very hard, and is ridden in a comfortable pace. You get to see major sights of the city, and enjoy lunch in the Ferry Building (at your own cost 😊). 7x7 is highly... More

This was our first trip to San Francisco and we thought a bike tour would be a good way to see the city. It certainly was, and Beebees local knowledge and enthusiasm were outstanding. The pace is perfect for any level of cycling experience, the bikes are great and time is spent making sure it's set up right for you.... More
