Owner description: SoSF is your #1 source for all things biking San Francisco. We know the city's best bike routes, especially the ones that go around the hills. We show you San Francisco's wild history and modern trends, including food, art, music, kooky local politics, and, of course, all things bicycles. Our guided bike tours focus on the city's neighborhoods and include: Unique history, diverse neighborhoods, Victorian architecture, public art, awesome bikes, & tasty local cuisine. Fun, friendly, local guides lead you through safe, bike-friendly routes that go around those infamous hills. Discounts for students, teachers, and military. We offer 3 guided tours in spring and 4 in summer: Heart of the City: 3-3.5 Hrs, $65/person, about 9 miles: Explore the city's interior neighborhoods including the Mission, Haight-Ashbury, and Civic Center. The Classic: 4.5-5 Hrs, $89/person, about 12 miles: Everything the Heart of the City has plus the Castro, SoMa, some additional stops, and a lunch break to taste delicious local cuisine. 7X7: 5.5-6 Hrs, $99/person, 17-18 miles with a stop for lunch. This tour is our epic day out on the bikes circumnavigating the city! The Bay Roller: (Summer only) 4.5-5 Hrs, $89/person explores the culture and history of San Francisco's northeastern neighborhoods and famous waterfront landscapes.

We opted for the 7x7 16-18 miler we both love cycling but were not at peak fitness and found it a great pace and only a few uphill bits so nice and easy. Josh was a fantastic guide, knew loads about the city, history, areas and was a lovely fun tour. The time whizzed by. Great overview of the whole... More

I went on the Heart of the City bike tour during my first visit to San Francisco, and I couldn't have found a better way to see the city for the first time. The bike tour showed us 'real' San Francisco, not just the touristy parts that are the same from city to city. Josh was a great tour guide,... More

The best way to see San Francisco is by bike. The tour with Josh was excellent, experiencing the sights, sounds ,history and people of the city. We got to see fabulous parts of the city ,eat great food, ice cream and coffee and we somehow avoided all the hills! They are a local bike company and really know where to go and what to... More

We went on a 3 hr bike tour of San Francisco w our guide, Josh, and 2 additional tourists. It was a misty/rainy day, but the tour was a lot of fun. Josh gave an interesting tour w frequent stops for history and information on the different areas. We rode through the wiggle, Castro, Haight, Mission areas, stopped to see... More

We did this tour on our last full day in SF. We should have done it on our first! It was a great way to get our bearings and see the best that the neighbourhoods of SF have to offer. The heart of the city tour took us away from the bridge, Alcatraz and fisherman a wharf and into the... More

Josh was our tour guide and did an amazing job showing the less-touristy neighborhoods of San Francisco and would stop frequently for photographs and to tell us a little bit of history. We learned a ton and saw a lot. The tour included the Wiggle, Painted Ladies, Golden Gate Park, Castro, Haight, Mission, Civic Center, famous food trucks, and probably... More

We had the most amazing time with our SoSF bike tour guide Vivek.... He is an amazing guys.. very knowledgeable about the town.. We were super impressed that he is in law school... You will never see SF the same way again. It is a great way to explore the town, burn few calories and enjoy the city.

Everything about our 5+ hour tour was perfect for a mom and daughter! A well-planned balance of exercise and exploring city neighborhoods, the time flew by. Josh was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and was knowledgeable and excited about the history and culture of the city. We highly recommend this as a fun outing, whether it is your... More
