Part urban adventure, part urban trek, and totally green, you'll visit enchanted gardens, secret stairways, glorious rooftop views, and some the city's coolest neighborhoods. You'll be avoiding large crowds of tourists while experiencing the real culture of San Francisco and learning about its rich and storied history. You'll traverse the city on Cable Cars, Light Rail, and City Buses. These vehicles are zero emissions or run on bio diesel, making this tour totally green. You must be able to walk 4 separate uphill 1.5 block sections, there are a total of 6 uphill flights of stairs, and 15 downhill flights of stairs, spread throughout the day. The day encompasses over 5 miles of walking including short uphill sections and hidden stairways that most people find extremely enjoyable. If you do not walk regularly this tour may be more challenging than enjoyable. If you have any difficulty going up and downstairs we do not recommend this tour. Please only wear comfortable closed toe walking shoes. Tours run daily departing from the California St Cable Car turnaround at 9:30 A.M.

I just spent the day on this tour. Kevin was the guide. It was great. I learned a lot, saw a lot and enjoyed it. Kevin was knowledgable yet willing to admit when he didn't know something.

Had a great day with Genie. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. We covered a lot of ground and got a glimpse of so many areas of San Francisco. Highly recommend this tour if you like to learn rather than just see. Fabulous city to visit!

We did a tour with Chris as our guide. It was great fun and very informative. Saw the main tourist points along with quirky things such as the Corsetry shop. Loved Chris's sense of humour. We'd strongly recommend the tour.

It was Jilly and I,s last day in san fran but this was the only day we could fit this trip in. We were not disappointed, we met at the cable car turn around and teamed up with our female guide and Dave and Cindy from Baltimore. A brilliant educating day, Finished our hols on a lovely note

We had a wonderful tour with Chris at the helm. The sights are amazing and diverse! We saw many things/areas we would never have found on our own. This is a great way to get an overview of the city! We did the tour on the beginning of our vacation and don't regret a minute. Chris was knowledgeable and entertaining....
