My boyfriend bought this as a gift for my birthday. After weeks of planning and hotel paid for, we traveled hours to San Francisco only to be told to our face the morning of the trip that it was canceled. The guy had no other answers for us other than to contact "the girls" at 10 am. The company lacked... More

We knew that we wanted to do a whale watching cruise while we were in San Francisco and stumbled upon this while in the Fisherman's Wharf. The Captain and Crew were so friendly. The guide, Jared, was so knowledgable about the Bay and all of its life. We were able to see 2 Humpback whales and spend about an hour... More

We are experienced seafarers who have seen whales and seals on the East Coast, so this review should be considered in that context. The crew on the Kit Kat were friendly, helpful, and nice, surely putting in a full effort for a six-hour cruise to the Farallon Islands. We saw a group of six to eight humpbacks, several harbor porpoise,... More

We did the 5 hours Tour and it truly was stunnishing. After passing the Golden Gate Bridge, we got to see some Sealions laying on rocks. The crew kept on informing us about the whales, their behaviors and the coast line. We saw countless Humpbacks, the engine got switched off, everything was quiet and you could hear the whales blowing... More

We did the 90 minute Eco tour and positively LOVED it. There was a sale for $25.00 and it was very well spent money. The boat was nice sized, not a good bit of people on it. Water was choppy and seating at the bow and stern were pretty limited, so we stood on the side of the boat (it... More

Highly recommended - facilities were great, staff were knowledgeable, approachable and welcoming....and the wildlife was extremely co-operative. Loved how respectful of the whales this company was, and how they seemed as thrilled as us to see a young humpback tail-slapping nearby. We saw maybe 7 whales on the trip, plus loads of birdlife, sealions, harbor porpoise, seals and even a... More

Went 23 Aug 15 on the Farallon Island trip. Kitty Kat is a superior boat to go on - modern, big 65 ft, catamaran, fast. Cons: Popular so it gets crowded, the crowd for the Farallon Islands tour was clearly more general tourists in the bay area as opposed to more focused natural history lovers. Guides tried to do what... More
