What a long bridge that is beautiful to photograph from the shoreline area in San Francisco or from ferries in the bay. Not sure if you can walk across like the Golden Gate Bridge, but it's much longer so would be more of an adventure to walk or bike across it.

Pretty impressive to drive across the bay on this bridge, both directions. One lower level and one upper level. Don't exit to Treasure Island though. Run down, tough neighborhood. Old US Naval base there that has become low income housing. Bridge is quite a sight at night. Very pretty.

If you're driving into or out of the city, driving this bridge is a spectacle ... and most especially beautiful at night. And, driving it, or being driven, is really the only way to cross. Of course, it's much more enjoyable if (1) you don't have to drive and can just sight see and (2) it's not rush hour!

It is an iconic spot featured in so many films, and once you've been there you understand why. It is an impressive piece of engineering!!! Many may not see this as an attraction. However, considering some go out of their way to see a grown up dressed up as a mouse; I would say this is an attraction for the... More

Stunningly beautiful. It feels good to be there where many films have been shot. Crossing it on foot is an interesting experience, you don´t realise how long the bridge is and how windy it gets up there.

If you are into San Francisco bridges, then this is a must see definitely. Also it is much bigger than Golden Gate.

I really don't understand why anyone would recommend to someone else that they should spend their time seeking out a bridge, especially this one. It is old, dank, and there was water dripping from the upper deck onto my car on a sunny day. This bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge are extremely boring sites to visit in person. Better... More

This bridge is impressive with its double decks. Much more impressive the Golden Gate! And it looks much better on Pictures. Skip Golden Gate, just visit Bay Bridge!

A beautiful View from the bridge and a good thing to do is enjoy the walk across it. Be sure you take your camera with you.
