I had heard about this limited time display and made sure that on a recent trip we saw it. There are LED lights strung on the bridges and then programed for several different patterns: waterfalls, surf, fishes, and something that looked like Frisbees play across the bridge. It is entrancing. To see it we went to near the Ferry building... More

Drove across the bridge and parked. Very busy parking lot and could use more parking. Walked with the kids across the bridge. Very Busy traffic and fast.....Bathing room could use a little cleaning. Well a lot of cleaning and toilet paper. Very Very windy but well worth the stop.

Definitely sketchy crossing the double decker bridge to Oakland but once you get on the new part of the bridge it is a smooth ride. Very artistic looking and lights up beautifully at night.

This new bridge is lite up at night and is fun to either watch from the bay or drive across. We went over from San Fran with ease but it took us over an hour to get back into town.

I would recommend going thru this bridge by bus. Real Nice view. But other than that , nothing much. The other side is oakland, and other side is financial district san francisco. Very Expensive to travel in San Francisco.

Honestly, I think it's cooler to drive across than the golden gate bridge. Expect to pay atleast a $5 toll.

If you have never been close to this bridge before its amazing how big it really is. The new span looks incredible plus you get to see the old part that is now being demolished. The lights on it at are stunning, it's well worth a trip down here after dark.

I took a walk on the bike/pedestrian pathway on the new western span of the San Francisco Bay Bridge. It was a great walk with fantastic views of the Port of Oakland, San Francisco, the East Bay, San Francisco Bay, the old bridge and the new bridge. The walk is 6 miles round trip from the parking lot on Maritime... More
