Most folks come here for the very scenic golf course or the Legion of Honor Museum. The latter is a San Francisco gem, by the way. The former is often dismissed by golfers as spotty, but the course layout and landscaping is magnificent! The real beauty here for locals and tourists alike is the spectacular views all the way around... More

This park is beautiful and needs to be seen at day and evening as the light can make it look so different.

We walked the long trail to Eagle's Point and out the other end of the park to the residential area of El Camino Del Mar. The views were outstanding. We would recommend a stop at this park to anyone visiting the SF area. One note of caution: We parked our rental SUV (the only vehicle they had available) in the... More

The walk from Point Lobos and the Sutro Baths to the Legion of Honor is gorgeous. the views are lovely and often there is a good art exhibit at the Legion of Honor. You can eat lunch in the cafe there or outside on the terrace.

A short walk through beautiful tall trees and as a distance you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a path to walk on all around the park. Peaceful and on the ocean!

Love Lincoln Park. I you visit here you must go to "lookout point" for a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Without a doubt this is the best view of the bridge from any point in the San Francisco area. The photo ops here are fabulous and pray for a sunny mist/fog free day for a clear picture of the... More

I went to the Lincoln Park by bike, which is the best way to go there and experience every thing on the way, starting with the Crissy Field, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Lincoln Boulevard, and finally the Lincoln Park. The park is far from downtown San Francisco, and it's not so easy to get there by public transport as... More

We stayed at a rented flat just 1 block away. When I originally reserved the flat, I had no idea that this was such a stunning area. I highly recommend a visit, whether you're in the immediate area, or add it to your tour of the Presidio and other local stops. Simply stunning!
