Although we did not eat at Lefty O'Doul's, we made it for happy hour! A nice group of bar patrons and an extremely good bloody mary. More

Somehow this restaurant has acquired the patina of a San Francisco institution, but I've had the turkey dinner here on three separate occasions when accompanying friends. Each time I've hoped the last time (or two times) were a fluke, and each time I've been amazed at how bland and tasteless they somehow manage to make their turkey. Each time I've... More

We popped in for a drink and the doorman was friendly enough. Inside staff was great and we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. We actually ate here twice - one breakfast, one dinner. The dinner is served on line (you take a tray through to get your meal). The food was wonderful!! Fresh corned beef, roast beef, turkey, prime rib . . . with a variety of vegetables and salads. For the price (less than $12) we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant... More
