The Gordon Biersch Marzen beers were very nice, quite sour, but the food was pretty ordinary. I must say the service was cheerful though, and it was a good place to while away some time before our flight. I can't comment on cost because we're not familiar with USA prices, but airports everywhere are notorious for their expensiveness. It's one... More

This is my third time eating at the Gordon Biersch located at the SFO airport. My gate was not close by but I went out of my way to get there. I love the pulled pork sandwich and the garlic fries and my husband also enjoyed it. There is also a full bar to go along with the meal. Service... More

The food was stale! The tacos looked like they have been prepared days ahead and my salad looked and tasted way beyond expiration date! The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because our waitress was pleasant and efficient.

Dined at SFO location late in the day. We ordered quickly as the kitchen was closing soon. My BBQ pork sandwich was okay but hubby's BBQ chicken was tough and stringy. The garlic fries were unedible. The fries appeared old and were refried and tossed on the plate. Very disappointing to be served sub-par food at premium pricing.

Ate at the SFO airport location. My bacon cheeseburger was excellent and served medium rare as requested. His Nibs fish and chips wasnt anything special. However the garlic fries were awesome! The beer, meh. We prefer Canadian micro brews. Service was attentive. Price reasonable for an airport.

This is absolutely the worst beer I have ever had in my life! Stay away! Service is bad as well as the food. Don't waste your time here.

Skip this place. It is one (of only a couple) of options in this area of the airport. My family was hungry and we had less than an hour to boarding time. The tables and seats were not clean, the wait staff is slow and inattentive, and the food was awful (cold fries and dry burger). It took 30 minutes... More

I wouldn't normally feel that vegetarian tacos are exciting enough for a review, but the ones at Gordon Biersch are something special. A crispy taco is surrounded by a soft taco and filled full with grilled veggies, pico de gallo, and avocado. The combination is amazing.

I appreciated the Gordon biersch at home because the menu complimented my vegetarian diet so I was excited to see there was one at the airport. The downside? No vegetarian options. Enough said. No more airport Gordon Biersch for me!

Frequently it is a given that restaurants when placed into an airport envrionment are poor at best. In that regards Gordon Biersch at SFO did not disappoint. While the beer is good (but overpriced at $8.29/glass) the cheeseburgers are overcooked, dry and tasteless. A terrible value at $12.39! One would figure that at that price for a burger, they would... Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
