Ocean Beach is beautiful. This place was recommended to us by a local person on the bus and we thank him! Three of us had different meals-seafood linguine, veggie bocatelli, and fish and chips. All fresh and delicious. Beautiful views. Quick service. I am a beer snob and the beer was pretty darn good as well. Thanks!

Lunch with hubby - went on recommendation from a friend. Lucked out on both a prime parking space and window table. Beer was cold and tasty - food hit the spot - arancini app was good - as was my crab cake - thought hubby's fish and chips was so-so.

I rank the food average but the view is excellent if you can get a window table. The building is an important landmark and you can read its history in the room below the restaurant. A nice place to lunch on a sunny day at the beach.

Sept. 7 2014, For my birthday. Our waitress was great, but when you have bad help from kitchen to table it reflects on her! My crab eggs benedict was brought with not crab as well as my other quest. It was brought back to the kitchen, and we were still waiting for the rest of our party (12) to get... More

Only had to wait 5 minutes for a window seat for 4 at noon on Saturday. When we left if was a much longer wait. Great view of the beach and the ships coming into SF Harbor. I had an oyster stout beer which I think is brewed on premises. Pretty good for $5. Friend had a house Bloody Mary....$11.50!... More

It’s funny how people, tourists, and others who are just curious go to a place and know nothing about its origins. Take this place as an example. Today, it serves as a restaurant and a place where you can observe murals from long ago. My visit was much more than seeing it as a place to dine, but to look... More

Went here for dinner with friends. Great location overlooking the beach. The ribs were good, but the crab cakes were mediocre and Cobb salad was really bad. It takes real effort to ruin a Cobb salad. They delivered the mains while we were still eating the appetizers. Overall, the only good thing about being rushed was that we weren't tempted... More

Classic piece of SF history that shouldn't be missed. Not anywhere near the view at the Cliff House, but frankly, a better value if you want to have a meal. Solid variety of casual dining, but nothing really original. Can pretty crowded during peak hours, as it's not just popular with the tourist crowd. Definitely worth a visit, but try... More

Recommended to us by a friend as being the only place to get good beer, similar to English Real Ale. And indeed the beer was excellent! Food was usual stuff you would expect in this kind of place. Very busy with long wait for a table, but I guess that was our fault for not booking. Fab location with great... More

This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path and you likely would not find it if you didn't know it was there. Fortunately, a colleague from the area recommended it. What a wonderful evening! The views were lovely, even on a rather foggy night. Food and service both very good. Prices reasonable. I would live to go back sometime... More
