We were invited to a anniversay celebration here on a Saturday evening and we had a great time. My entire family, including my toddler, loved this musuem. And the staff extremely helpful and friendly. It's a wonderful display of Walt Disney's life and accomplishments and I would say the best exhibit was the replica of disneyland and the train (my... After visiting the museum right after its opening a couple years ago, I joined as a member and visit it several times a year. Every month there is a different classic Disney movie being shown and the special events are always entertaining and educational. Every one of the staff are professional and very courteous and remind me of the cast... More

This museum is a bit out of the way but it is really worth it! There's great views of the golden gate bridge from here too. There was a special exhibit on snow white while I was there which was awesome. A really great museum!

We got a little lost when we got off the bus too early and ended walking in the wrong direction. Later realised that there was a bus 43 about a 10 mins walk away from the museum. We paid $25 per person to go to the museum and the special exhibition on Snow White, however we covered the Snow White... More

I should have given myself more time bec there was so much to see n experience. With the Snow White exhibit, the 3 hours I was there saw me rushing thru the exhibits.Entrance is $25 per person which I thought was a little steep.

You need to take your time and READ the exhibits, but it is very interesting and informative. Not for the kiddies, this is for a real Disney fan to learn about Walt and how he developed his empire.

Gave a good description of Disney's career and the evolution of cartoons/animated movies. Did not elect to pay the extra fee to see the special exhibit on Snow White.

We visited this museum at the request of my teenage son who loves all things Disney. There were 5 of us, ranging in age from 16 to 82, who all found the museum to be engaging. The presentation walks visitors through the life of Walt Disney showcasing the highs and lows of his career as he became the icon he... More

I think you're be surprized, Find the connection to AP Gianini and on a clear day the view of the Golden Gate Bridge thru the trees of the Presidio is spectacular.

This is a very organized, informative, and interesting museum displaying photos and memorabilia of Walt Disney's countless accomplishments but also his family history. Walt was a true pioneer in film, theme parks, etc. His life is laid out chronologically, and the Family History units placed amid his pioneering achievements round out his life in a personal way. You can tell... More
