The location is a bit tough to deal with but, the museum is definitely interesting especiialy if you're a Disney fan and my wife is since she's the niece of one of the original "old men" animators. We enjoyed seeing all the history and the impact Disney really had on the world beyond entertainment. It's a real eye opener but,... More

This was one of the most delightful exhibits I have seen in a long time. The exhibit was displayed in such a manner that it could be enjoyed by both young and old. You really came away from this exhibit realizing how important the railway was to Disney and the extent it played in his life which most people do... More

If you are a Walt Disney fan this is a must do! We are huge fans and spent hours touring the museum and could have spent days exploring and learning new facts. A entrance fee is charged and I found an online coupon which saved us $2.00 each. Bring your camera, taking photos is allowed, I took hundreds....staff were available... More

This was a very interesting impressive museum, but not really for children. It is dedicated to the life of Walt Disney and how he progressed through the industry and how the various cartoons, movies and animation was made. You need a minimum of two hours to cover all of the material here. We were there about 75 minutes and felt... More

Blown away!! We spent 3 hours and only left to catch the plane. We are going back. You could spend 5 hours there easy. There is so much to see and it is so beautifully done. One of the finest museums we have every seen. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. Even the floor is beautiful. Walt would be proud.... More

The Walt Disney Family Museum is wonderful! There is so much to see, so plan to spend at least 2 hours there. It is in the San Francisco Presidio and since we didn't have a car, it was a little difficult to find. We took a taxi back to our hotel. It was definitely worth it!

You could spend a whole day here! It was very interesting to learn about the progression of Walt and the Disney business. This is a beautiful and well designed museum. It is worth the money to visit! Don't walk there- definitely take a bus, cab or an Uber!

We were there for about two hours, but could have easily been there four. One of the docents made a great suggestion, "When you reach the Fantasia section, you're about half way. Plan your time accordingly." We could barely get past the first room, so much interesting info... Beautifully designed, the exhibits start with Walt's childhood and end with his... More

Great for older kids and those that are young at heart. Took my 22 year old niece who is a history major getting ready to graduate. She wanted to go to check out the presentation and was more interested in "how" they did things from a museum standpoint. She was very impressed! I was there just to tag along but... More
