This museum is packed with so much historical info on Walt Disney that we could have spent all day here, but hubby and 13 y/o daughter don't have as much patience as I do, so we made our way through the main museum and the special exhibit area in about 3 hours. Would definitely go back again to take a... More

My family and I visited the Museum on Friday, July 31st. We took in the Dali exhibit that started this month. It was very interesting to see the similarities between Dali and Disney. There are many original Dali paintings and sketches along with some reproductions for the exhibit. There is an audio component to explain the different displays. For the... More

The Walt Disney Family Museum has a lot of interesting thing. There are original drawings (awesome), film clips (fun to watch), trophies and merchandise galore all fun to see. And then they printed a book and hung it on the wall. Unless you are a very fast reader or intend to spend the entire day there, it is very hard... More

This is a good museum for adults to visit. It is a very excellent presentation of Walt Disney's life and work. Would not recommend this for children as they would get quickly bored, except for the movie theatre showing Disney films, and the rooms showing the model of Disneyland. The early days of the Disney family and the evolution of... More

Very interesting museum with a lot of videos and hands-on displays. The history of Disney from the man himself! Very cool!

My husband and I went to the museum on a Saturday as they were having a special exhibit about the connection between Dali and Disney. We viewed the special exhibit first, which had an audio component that detailed the exhibit. The presentation was well done - with the parallels between the two men shown clearly and concisely. It was nice... More

This is a must see museum. Each display is done to the highest standard. This is a museum really focused on Walt Disney the man more than a tribute solely to Disneyland. My son who is 9 loves the place and has no problem staying for several hours. There is a nice little coffee bar inside the museum. If you... More

I didn't have time for the full Disney Family Museum experience, so I opted for the Disney-Dali exhibit. It was a fascinating look at these two popular, experimental artists who tried to work together, but ultimately had very different sensibilities. I came away with more respect for Walt Disney as a storyteller. Highly recommend!

I am so happy that we finally got to visit this museum, (didn't get the chance in our last visit to San Francisco). It's very interesting, wish we weren't tired of walking if not we would have spent more time there. The seating throughout the rooms was a huge plus!
