Great place to visit, more for adults than for children .mi would suggest plan on staying more than 2 hrs, to get the full effect. A lot to read and listen to.it was nice to get the history and insight of Walt Disney and his family. Enjoyed my stay there, wished I could of stayed a little longer.

An excellent museum showing Walt Disney's life and all that he has created, along with all the workers who help in creating the characters we all know so well. There is a cafe to stop for coffee or lunch. This is a rather new museum in San Francisco.

We liked this museum but it was difficult to get to without a car and we found the layout and things to read hard to follow in order. This focused on his life in good detail with some good pieces from his history. More adult focsued than child focused (we thought)

This museum dedicated to the life work of Walt Disney. It focuses on how his career started and gives you an inside look at him as a person. It was really great to see all of the old pictures and documents relating to Disney's early career. We saw the train exhibit for an extra $5. I would say this really... More

Not quite a place for young kids, as the museum is not quite a fun and games place, but more of a serious, informative place to educate people about the history/background of Disney. The museum is in an open area just a short drive from Golden Gate Park. I visited when there was a related exhibition about Tyrus Wong's art,... More

I've been a Disney fan for nearly all of my (almost) 60 years, so I had to see this when we were in the area. My husband and I totally enjoyed the museum, but unfortunately we had a limited amount of time so we were unable to really experience everything. We especially enjoyed the historical aspects...war time, union strikes, Walt's... More

Being a family that literally, yes literally, goes to Disneyland every single year for vacation for 20 years, it was awesome to see even more of the history of the park, and learn more about Walt himself. It is very perfectly put together and you seriously could not ask for a better location than the Presidio. Wonderful and worth every... More

This museum was AMAZING!!! My husband and I were fortunate to visit during the 'Walt's Trains Exhibit' and we are so happy we got to enjoy that as well. The train exhibit took us an hour and then we sat for lunch in the cafe at the museum. The cafe has salads and gourmet sandwiches. It is a little pricey... More

A new perspective on Walt Disney. OK it is put together under the supervision of his family so you won't get any super harsh criticisms of him but this really gives an insight into a man who seems to have enjoyed his life and got a lot out of it and understood what makes people tick. It is much bigger... More

What a fun way to spend a day! They tell you that you will need two hours, but if you are a real Disney fan just be safe and give yourself a full day. There are beautiful views of San Francisco within the museum and the gift shop is very cute. To save some money, bring your lunch, but make... More
