Absolutely loved my trip to the museum! I wasnt sure what to expect but i was blown away! You follow Walt Disneys life from before he was even born, right up to the day he died.. Walking through around 17 different rooms you learn about all aspects of his life and career. Brought a tear to my eye. To finish... More

I decided to surprise my husband and son(15) and take them to the Disney museum in San Francisco. I knew very little about the museum with the exception that it was easy to get to and that a few of my friends recommended it without much explanation. I assumed that we would learn everything there was to know about the... More

Everything you ever wanted to know about Walt and the Disney family. We enjoyed every minute. Diane has shared so much about the Disney family history and we really felt like we got to know the man behind the mouse.

We are Disney fans and spent at least 2.5-3 hours here, though you need not spend that much time. Information is presented in multiple ways so that you get just as much out of the museum if you are looking at active displays as if you read the display boards. My daughter (age 21) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The... More

I am a huge Disney fan, annual passholder to Disneyland for the past 6 years, avid film watcher and I love to learn about Disney. I was taken aback at the museum prices, around $20 per person and almost passed up the opportunity but thought otherwise. Boy was I happy I choose to go. We spent over 4 hours at... More

Absolutely a must see for Disney fans. The name of the museum might be misunderstood, and you might think that because it says "family" Museum, that it's for families. But in actuality it's referring to Walt Disney's family and therefore it's their museum. It may not be too entertaining for children, but they do have a movie on a daily... More

I highly recommend you to tour this museum, it is a true gem. This is the Disney family museum.....it is not the commercialized Disney you expect. So much history, family mementos. This was one of the highlights of our trip to San Francisco. It is not for young children, geared more for adults or older teens.

Visited with my wife and teenage daughter. It was a real pleasant surprise. The museum was really interesting and had so much to see. The model of Disneyland was amazing.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to the Disney Family Museum. However, we were glad that we did not have our children with us...this museum is definitely geared for adults. It is a small museum but there is a TON of history to be found there. Definitely worth the money and time.
