This company seemed to have a guide on every bus. Loved the stories. They also were very competitive price wise with the other companies. Best price was on the internet. Loved the hop on hop off. Did full tour and took notes as to where we wanted to go back another day. Do your homework.

We did the Sausility/Muir Woods tour across the Golden Gate Bridge. It started out great with Josh as our tour guide but then the shuttle to Muir Woods broke down and the company just didn't seem prepared to handle this hiccup or communicate it clearly to the customers waiting in Sausalito. Ended up waiting for an hour for a new... More

We purchased the 48hr ticket 'cause we wanted the downtown and night tour so the 48hr ticket seemed the most cost efficient as we would then have the option of all loops. We waited an hour waiting for a bus so decided to walk. When we arrived at our destination in the Presidio district we saw one bus. We walked... More

We bought the 1 day pass at 11am at the Union Square Tix office. The friendly assistant told us that we could also ride the next day until 11am - our ticket didn't expire at midnight as you might assume. This was great as it meant we could do the parks & beach tour the next morning. The first leg... More

Remember Most Americans almost died... Just to make it from the East Coast. The weather is as close to perfect as you can get. Who doesn't want to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. You can spend a day on the peer watching wildlife. If you have the time Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and go to Muir Woods. You have... More

a great way of seeing the city if your not there for long, it gives you a taste of what's on offer, if it's your first time! I saw the bumpy hill roads you only see in the uk on the movies, or on to, but they are real!they have wonderful stores, and a lovely park.,where you can watch the... More

We had mixed results with this company. Some of the tour guides were great. Tour guides Leo on the Red Line and Mike on the Green line did great jobs. Leo is especially articulate, informative and interesting. Mike on the green line was a great driver/guide. The afternoon we went on the Golden Gate tour, however, was super disappointing. The... I'm a big fan of city bus tours and this one was no exception. The guides were funny, informative and friendly. The routes are good and if you go for a 2 or 3 day combo package, you can cover a lot of ground. There were a few cons though - the offseason bus timetable is not great and there... More

We purchased a two day pass that included being able to go to Sausalito. So, there was a Downtown Loop, a Golden Gate Park Loop and the Sausalito Loop. The way it works is the bus drives around and the guide talks about the landmarks, history, and life in S.F. You can get off at various points and then after... More
