Took this tour as a way of crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. The general tour was fine, Not a very spectacular route but okay. Crossing the bridge was a different matter. For some unexplainable reason the driver doubled the speed we were traveling and made the Bridge experience terrible. It was a breezy day anyway and sitting ontop of an... More

A package deal, including a trip to Alcatraz and an unlimited 3-day city tour pass, makes this one of the best values for a tourist in San Francisco. There are a few city tours, a Golden Gate tour, and one that goes to Sausalito. I took them all. The tour guides were generally excellent, and the drivers maneuvered the streets... More

We got the 2 day hop on hop off ticket. We didnt really use the hop on hop off we just stayed on for the full tour around 90 minutes. The Golden Gate Park tour was brilliant especially with Calvin the driver and "Wheels" the tour guide - thanks guys. All buses were on time. Thanks to Nial who gave... More

I discovered these double decker bus tours in Philadelphia. They are absolutely hands down the best way to see the tourist highlights of any large city. The hop on hop off allows you to tailor the experience to your interests. We jumped off at Haight Ashbury and had lunch and then they picked us up at the designated bus stop.... More

There are a number of bus companies operating in SF and this one happened to be close to our hotel (Holiday Inn, Fisherman's Wharf). We bought a 24 hour ticket and did the city tour in an open top bus in the rain! Paul (I think his name was, an actor by trade) was just excellent; he was informative and... More

Ask to ride with Mark G., wherever he's going. He had us rolling so hard we missed two stops. Big ups!

Wheels and Doc were wonderful ambassadors to this beautiful city! They gave us a fantastic and informative guide through San Francisco. What a great way to see the sights without driving!

We bought and upgraded thru Viator for a 48 hour hop on hop off bus. It was great, because you have the cable car, muni bus, 3 walking tours, 1 night tour, and a 7D experience ride for the kids, all included. It was worth it, you save a lot of money and you get to experience more things than... More

Great way to see the city and get oriented at the beginning of your vacation. My daughter and I were much better prepared to see the rest of San Francisco after this. Our tour guide was entertaining, funny and informative. Well worth it.
