We did the 3 hour gourmet chocolate tour and had a great time! We had a small group of only 5 people and our guide was lovely! She was also very knowledgeable about all things chocolate - the growing, making and selling. You will receive plenty of free samples on the tour (like the website says), and you will also... More

We did the Hayes Valley tour with Kate and had a fantastic time! She was very knowledgable about the area and the many vendors we visited, and just generally a cool and laid back guide. We really enjoyed the stops on the tour, even though it was a bit dessert-heavy because of a last minute switch for one of the... More

Nicole was a fabulous tour guide on the Gourmet Chocolate Tour. Very well organized, as well as friendly and knowledgeable about chocolate-making...and SF history! We ate many many delicious samples along the way, and brought a stash home, as well. I would totally go again!

We had a wonderful time walking around SF with our guide. Even though we live and work here, there were chocolate shops that we hadn't uncovered yet, as well as long-time favorites. A delicious way to spend an afternoon, for both locals and tourists!

I had the best tour of the Fillmore area foods, History and a great stroll thru the area My guide Shane Fallon was so informative and fun. She smoothly transitioned to each tasting by giving us background on the owners of the business and the ethnic meaning of the foods we tasted. I am a local and learned so much... More

I took the Choocolate Tour on my own on a Friday while my husband was at a convention. Our tour guide, Nicole, was obviously as passionate about chocolate as I would expect a chocolate tour guide to be! She had fun facts and interesting antidotes to add along our way. The stops were mostly at small, local vendors which I... More

Terrific tour. Shane took us places I never would have found on my own. She's a real foodie and loves the history of the neighborhoods so it was a real pleasure. I learned a lot. I'd like to do more of these walks. Nice group of locals. Come hungry.

Shane was a great guide to the Asian food options of Japantown and the Fillmore neighborhood. Our tour was eight people, and everyone lived in San Francisco or the Bay Area -- not a single out of town tourist! The food was great -- everything was new to us and it was a great chance to try things that we... More

We went on the JapanTown tour with Shane. She is a terrific tour guide. Knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. Shane knew all the history of JapanTown, the Fillmore, & the calamities of Japanese-American interment & the redevelopment agency's urban renewal project. All the food we enjoyed was fantastic! And Shane knew the owners & operators of every establishment where we ate.... More

On a sunny Friday morning, we met up with our tour guide Nicole near the Ferry Building. From the beginning, it was clear we were in for a fun, informative day. The tour began with a brief overview of chocolate history including information about how chocolate goes from plant to delicacy. During this introduction, our group was able to taste... More
