I took along a friend for Gourmet Walk's newest tour in San Francisco - in the Hayes neighborhood. We enjoyed the Chocolate tour of SF on the occasion of my wife's 60th BD. It was a marvelous tour and was paced just right for total enjoyment of both the city and the chocolatiers. We LOVED our Chocolate Tour, and I say this an a non chocolate lover. You get a lot of quality chocolate (including a Dom Perignon truffle from Oprah's favorite chocolatier) for $50. Plus the tour is 3 hours with a knowledgeable guide with whom you walk from Fisherman's Wharf to Union Square. more

I learned so much about chocolate! We visited many chocolate makers and tasted some of the best chocolate you can imagine. I highly recommend this tour! more

Scharffen Berger no longer offers factory tours. But if you love chocolate you should try a Gourmet Walks Chocolate Tour. I did this tour recently with my girlfriend and we had a great time.
