San Francisco is an interesting city for a lot of reasons but one is the juxtaposition of beautiful scenery and tourist clogged streets and venues. Crissy Fields is perhaps the best place to really just sit and relax while also taking ion some of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding waterfront. great spot to have a... More

Great views of the GG Bridge, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate itsel, Marin and the Headlands. Great for jogging, walking or just sitting. But remember, if the fog or wind is in this place is 55 degrees and feels colder than that.

We took our kids, a kite and hoodies, brilliant for the kids on the beach ... Don't forget sun screen even if it's windy

Parking is a nightmare (as is the rest of SF). However, one can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Lots of people bring their dogs out to Crissy Field to enjoy the sea breeze and the sun.

Nice park, enjoy a walk there while you're on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge. You will get the firsts glimpses of the bridge there.

Whether you want to fly a kite, go for a run, or just laze in the fun, this area is perfect. Grand homes with huge picture windows overlook the park and the shore. Children of all ages seem to come to life while enjoying the clean air and green grass.

It is very nice to walk on the shore of San Francisco Bay. You can make a bath in it while you have a beautiful view of the Golden Gate.

Go from hiking to jogging, beach strolling, to biking. Enter across from Palace of Fine Arts at the Yacht Club (public parking for PFA). Walk west all the way to the warming shack. Diversity abounds -- in nature and landmarks to people watching.

We visited Crissy Field on March 18, 2015. We were spending a day in San Francisco in route from Cambodia to our home in Florida. The grounds and view at Crissy Field were delightful and well maintained. The women's restroom was probably the filthiest restroom I have ever encountered anywhere in my life. We had wondered what sort of public... More
