This was definitely the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge without the crowds. A little out of the way, but an opportunity to get yourself a unique and personal one on one photo of yourself and the bridge in all its glory

These three locations are within minutes of each other and can be visited in one morning, afternoon or day. There is always plenty of parking and the views are fantastic. I am a native and I say, you cannot go wrong with spending some wonderful time in these 3 places. You will not stop thanking me.

Whether a group, family or a couple, best place to unwind, the fresh sea breeze from the bay. Vast area to run, bike, jog or walk. Green lawn, sandy path/walkway, perfect for strolling & Golden Gate at the backgound!

From Fort Mason through the Marina Green, past the Marina and all the way to Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge, this is the bayside walk that all visitors to SF should experience. Beautiful views of the city skyline, the bridge, Alcatraz, Palace of Fine Arts, Marin Headlands, Angel Island, etc. An exceedingly pleasant way to spend a few... More

Lovely walk along Crissy Field towards Golden Gate Bridge. Beautiful beaches and nature reserve. Saw some seals just offshore.

Easy to get to, nice views, busy but not overly crowded, easy to find parking. There are great views and photo opportunities for San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, etc.

One of my favorite spots as we walked toward Fort Point and the Golden Gate Bridge. We were there on a clear day-and the views of the bay and the bridge were great. A former US army airfield, it's now a great public space and waterfront park. Bring a kite!

This appears to be a great place to go people watching. It is where the locals go to walk, jog, run, bike, and walk their dogs. I also heard this was a good place to go to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Sadly, by the time we got to the field and started walking the fog rolled in and completely... More

I was amazed at all the people swimming in October! Nice wide open area so even tho there were lots of people around and the parking lot was overfilled, it didn't seem crowded. Nice place to walk and people watch.

its a nice place to spend a nice Sunday afternoon , do a little barbeque and spend time with friends and family. Great views of Golden Gate Bridge ( if its clear day). Very good for long walk, ride bikes and run your dog. nice way to spend couple of hours looking at the Bay .
