this was a nice walk along the water. The views are spectacular to say the least. I can see why so many people take so many pictures of this bridge. So many views are just amazing. We enjoyed every second we spent here.

Nice beach are with great views of the bridge if it isn't too misty. Best in the morning for photos. Peaceful oasis within easy distance of the city. Well worth a visit if the weather is good.

Crissy field is more famous for its beach area than for the field and nature preserve aspects it offers, and the views are truly world class! Parking is free and ample and offers patrons jaw dropping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin County, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco Bay in General. Leisurely strolling, running, picnics, and child's play are... More

can be cool and windy even in July, layered clothes are always best in S.F., and sunglasses for the wind. The beach area was clean and the sand and water nice. There was a lot of parking and it was a nice place to picnic, as tables were available. The warming hut cafe is at hand for coffee, snacks, simple... More

Crissy Fields is a slice of heaven for locals and tourists alike. As a local, I bring Macallan, my 2 y.o. puppy, family and friends (ie, newborns in snugglies and toddlers in strollers) for a one mile walk. We park in the Marina Green parking lot. Then, we pick up a coffee at the first cafe off to the left.... More

We found this path after wandering around the Wharf (fun) and Palace of Arts (gorgeous) and decided to walk it down to the bridge. It is a long walk - saw signs on the way BACK that said it was 1.1 miles from the info. center to the bridge. The dirt "road" is pretty wide, there were lots of bike... More

I always visit Crissy Field when visiting SF. Good walks, exercise stations and many runners and bikers. There was a SFMOMA sculpture display when we were out there. Great view of bay and GG bridge, especially on a clear day. Can walk all the way over to the Presidio or to Fisherman's wharf from there if you are ambitious. Plus,... More

We love this place. We generally go here at least a dozen times a year. The whole family can enjoy Crissy Field. We take our dog and she loves it. There is a small beach area where she can be off leash and run in the water, We like to buy our lunch at Trader Joe's and then take it... More

One of the top 5 days of my Ife so far, spent walking across the Golden Gate Bridge then back to Fishermans Wharf along Crissy Field in the December sunshine. It doesn't get any better than that! The views over the bay and back towards the Bridge were spectacular, the whole area is very well maintained and felt very safe.... More

Here is a less-publicized gem in San Francisco that is well worth making a special trip there, especially early in the morning. There is so much to do and see in this park, and it links easily up to the GG Bridge and the Presidio area. The little cafe and gift shop at the Warming Hut is great for a... More
