It's easy to see why this place is popular. Great scenery and if you love dogs there's plenty here. Stop, get some pictures!!! Then go over the Golden Gate Bridge!

I did the field by bike. It was quite a workout, between the rocky terrain and the wind blowing against you. Great view of the golden gate bridge. A must do if you are near by.

This is actually next to the Presidio and is just as neat walking around here. The bike/walk path is relatively flat and plenty of good people watching. Great views too. Don't miss the Fort Point while you are there. Weekends are VERY busy, so avoid if possible.

Spent a Sunday morning walking here. It's part of the National Parks and has a good shop and cafe. There is sitting and eating space outside. Good view of the Golden Gate Bridge and nice walks.

Bring your bike or your walking shoes along with a picnic. This is a great way to soak up some sun and breeze! Leisurely walk and say g'day to the like minded people who enjoy the outdoors. It can get cool so bring a hat and water, but if the sun is out be mindful and apply sunscreen too.

When it is hot on the Peninsula, this beach can be great fun. It was 99 in Palo Alto, and 103 in Santa Cruz, but Crissy Field was 80, with a pleasant breeze. There is sand an water, and lots of small children at the beach. Once can walk along the bay side trail and go all the way to... More
