Crissy Field is really magical with its expanse of open space and location right next to the Golden Gate Bridge! The area is teeming with recreational possibilities.

This is a dog park and beach. It's a great place to bring the dog to play and swim. The dog beach is a nice option since there is little bike traffic to worry about.

Crissy Field is interesting as a historical site recalling the early days of aviation, but what makes it very worth your while is the setting. You can walk along the bay front and savor views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz as you stretch your legs.

So gorgeous here - by far the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge and this puts you at a vantage point below it. Beautiful walk or bike ride. Create your own post card!

Crissy Field is an amazing restoration of bayside beach and wetlands in the Presidio. Abundant walking trails, dogs (on and off leash), beach (parts of which are closed seasonally to protect nesting birds), as well as a coffee shop and other businesses in the old Army and Coast Guard buildings make for a great spot to spend the day. Take a trip to Crissy field to either bike, jog, or walk along beautiful paths. You'll see lots of bikers, joggers, and walkers many with their kids or friendly dogs. On clear days the sky is just gorgeous and you're right next to the bay where the waves come crashing in, with Alcatraz Island clearly visible, and ferries taking passengers... More

If you live in San Francisco on the North side of the city (the higher end part of the city that has been popular for generations) this is where you go on a beautiful day, or on any day. It is a gorgeous 3/4 mile walk from the parking lot, down the beach on a walking path, to the base... More

This is the place to enjoy the Golden Gate and be able to take pics of it as well. Plenty of areas for dogs, runners, and/or just walking along the water.
