Crissy Field is a land-filled area right on SF Bay with great views of the Golden Gate and the Bay to the north! Great place to bike, run, walk, hang out! Not too far from tony Chestnut Street shopping and right against the beautiful homes in the Marina district! As pretty a place to enjoy a nice walk, run or... More

Crissy Field is one of my favorite paces in San Francisco! It is the perfect walk or bikeride, along the bay to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is also a great place to bring a picnic (picnic benches on grassy area) and go to the beach.

Upon a friends' suggestion we explored Crissy Field. There is plenty of parking and restrooms nearby. We parked near the Beach Hut and after having a cup of soup and bread and a mocha (all good!) we walked across the street to the Palace of Fine Arts. It's a beautiful oasis and makes you feel like you're in Europe. Lots... More

Beautiful beach. Walking along Crissy Field is the absolute best way to approach the Golden Gate Bridge and see it, in its iconic majesty, in the distance. You never get tired of the view, as you walk towards it, and hardly notice the hilly part at the end just before the bridge, in your excitement to reach it, Upon my... More

House of air has an age requirement. My daughter wanted to jump on the trampoline, but was stuck in the bouncy house. She had a blast regardless. We enjoyed the seashore and will return for rock climbing/kite flying.

We stopped here for awhile on our walk from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Palace of Fine Arts. It was a very hot summer afternoon and we enjoyed some time sitting on the sandy beach and wading into the cool waters of the Bay. With a large urban center in view, it was a a nice bit of peace... More

Walking along the place provides great views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Really appreciate the graceful span of the bridge glowing in its coat of International Orange paint. Crissy Field, once an airstrip, and now a favourite place for locals to jog, walk dogs and cycle.

this was a nice walk along the water. The views are spectacular to say the least. I can see why so many people take so many pictures of this bridge. So many views are just amazing. We enjoyed every second we spent here.

Nice beach are with great views of the bridge if it isn't too misty. Best in the morning for photos. Peaceful oasis within easy distance of the city. Well worth a visit if the weather is good.
