Wacky & wild spoof of American pop music & culture as well as politics, with what can only be described as outrageous & "off the hook" costumes & headgear. Makes the late great Carmen Miranda look almost conservative in comparison - and I'm sure she had a great influence, as they have a Carmen-like character with maybe a dash of... more

This was a wonderful way to enjoy your evening. The show was so funny and lots of good singing & costumes too. I couldn't recommend it enough. Make early reservations so you can sit closer to the front. more

First, I loved this show. It helps to be culturally literate so you get all the jokes. Read the headlines and a gossip rag the day you go. The costumes and hair are utterly ridiculous and part of the overall on going joke. The show is 90 minutes non stop of silliness and I found it completely enjoyable. The venue,... more

We were first time visitors to San Francisco last Fall 2008. After reading about this SFO iconic show, I decided that we had to go in order to complete our SFO experience. Frankly, we really enjoyed the show, as did the people around us. The timing was good as it was the height of the 2008 presidential campaign season, so... more

For the first time after being in San Francisco for years we went to see this show. What a horrible disappointment. We waited forever for something to drink. I noticed most of the audience trying to laugh at something, but it was so loud most of the words were lost. One woman even asked that the volume be turned down.... more

They say the show changes almost weekly, but don't believe it. My daughter and I saw it about 18 months ago on a trip with friends and we all loved it. I had seen it many moons ago, but didn't really remember it. It was corny and touristy, yes, but entertaining. Anyway, we thought it would be fun to take... more

After 16 years of living in the Bay Area, I finally succumbed and bought tickets to go and watch BBB. I did yesterday.... I think the money would have been better spent somewhere else in San Fran.. or even the museum for gods sake!! The story line could have been sooo much better. There characters were forced.. the performers seemed... more

I have to agree somewhat with jeannejeanne and very much with traveler5548. I was disappointed by the show, perhaps because of all the raving reviews about it. I was expecting a great show - but instead found stupid plot, lame transitions from character to character, total randomness in plopping different characters into each scene, and really annoying high voice of... more

My husband would probably rate it even higher; he enjoyed it even more than I did. I thought it funny; he thought it was hilarious! Really talented actors; great vocals. I loved the small theatre. We had reserved seats & were glad we did because we arrived late (couldn't find the theatre, got wrong directions from someone; finally stopped &... more
