Even though it was chilly, we took the escape from Alcatraz tour. It was very informative, educational and fun. We passed under the Golden Gate, around Alcatraz and around the Bay. A definite must.

Great tour. My family of 5 with 3 kids ages 8,7, and 5 loved the 30 minute Power Boat tour. Tons of fun. As soon as we got off, the kids were asking to go again.

First time in San Francisco and me and my boyfriend went to the pier 39 walked around. Parking is crazy, we paid $40 to park. Then we wanted to take a boat ride. There are so many boats to choose from with different prices. We did blue & gold fleet $30 each! Best price out there, others charged $50, $60... More

We put this on the itinerary for our 2nd visit to san francisco. Our first visit we did the NP Alcatraz Tour (it comes with a boat ride) . Totally was thrilled with going under the GG bridge! Great photo ops. If you are seated outside dress warmly in layers! We sat inside on the side bench and going outside... More

We did the Escape trip with a family. The family ticket saves you a little bit of money. We also asked for military discount but you'll get more discount with the family ticket. It is a roundtrip to the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. You have some spectacular views to Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, the skyline of San... More

Hey! I'd never done it and probably wouldn't have without my European friend visiting. But it was a very nice experience. A slow sail out to the GG Bridge then back around the edge of Alcatraz. A very good narrative about the history of SF and the bay, not too intrusive but very informative. Going under the Bridge was quite... More

We took this tour on the spur of the moment as they were calling for passengers for the last tour of the day after we had finished an organised city tour. It was the perfect way to round off the day in San Francisco. We had a great experience on the tour, it was obviously a bit pricey but we... More

We bought tickets online from Blue & Gold for the Monterrey-Carmel day tour. They confirmed the reservation and told us to go to Pier 39 and wait for their bus. We waited as directed from 9 to 9.30 AM. No sign of any bus! After asking around at their kiosk, it turns out that they subcontract their bus tours to... More

Traveling with my 88 yr old mother, this was a perfect way for her to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge without tiring her out too much. Friendly crew, great audio pointing out landmarks. We bought the ridiculously expensive photos and will enjoy our memories of our day.

I went with my extended family on the 90 minute cruise and was content with the experience. However, certain elements really gave off a poor quality affect. For example, the audio played in the background on the speaker, could've been really good, but over the normal noise of the others around me I couldn't hear any of it! Also, it... More
