We did this as part of the CityPass. We got on one of the first tours of the morning and it was a bit chilly. It wasn't overcrowded and it looked like most people had a seat. Tour included an audio while cruising out to the bridge and around Alcatraz. I felt like there was good information and I found... More

We bought tickets for the last ferry from San Francisco to Sausalito at 4.10pm and were told that we should start boarding 20 minutes prior to departure. About 25 minutes prior to departure we asked a Blue & Gold Fleet employee where we boarded only to be told that the San Francisco-Sausalito departed at 4.00pm! Why sell us tickets for... More

If you want to get to know San Fransisco, I suggest going to Blue & Gold Fleet. There are so many options. For example, if you're a thrill seeker, then you should get a ticket for the rocketboat. If you're interested in seeing San Fransisco but you also want to know a little bit more about the famous Alcatraz, then... More

Our second boat trip in the bay, but this one brought a different perspective than the Red and White. Big spacious ship (VERY BIG) and a great helpful staff and an informative narrative that included it's own headphones available in the language of your choice! What a great offering with our SF GoCard!

The Blue and Gold cruise is excellent. The view going under the Golden Gate Bridge - wonderful, the San Francisco skyline from the water - superb, cruising around Alcatraz - historic. We enjoyed the experience outside and inside thoroughly and even spotted 6 bay dolphins. Tickets can be purchased online and taken to the box office for boarding passes. Be... More

The best part of this tour was the views of the San Francisco city skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. We did cruise underneath it and it was really cool to see. The worst part of the trip was the cruise seemed definitely overbooked. The ship was packed with every seat taken and the standing areas had people... More

Took a late afternoon hour-long tour as part of our CityPass. It was a nice way to see the city and surrounding area from the bay. Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz and past the sea lions were the highlights. We stood right at the bow of the ship - it was too windy to hear any narration,... More

Our one hour cruise lasted last than 1 hour = 1 star deducted. What kind of moron would advertise a 1 hour cruise and come back earlier--when weather is perfect is beyond me. That is what they did on the first cruise of the day on Dec 28th, 2015. It was short only by about 3 or 4 minutes, but... More

This cruise was such a disappointment because the boat we were on was inadequate for a cruising tourist boat, it was so and there was only one good vantage point to see the golden gate Bridge from. Don't go onto the top deck because you will see nothing even though they tell you to go up stairs to the top.... More

Took this ferry from Vallejo to San Fran for a day visit. Nice ride, clean boat, great parking. 3 adults, $80 round trip. Much nicer than fighting the traffic and parking. Food and drinks available on board. Would definitely travel this again.
