Booked this one hour bay cruise half an hour before it was due to sail as it was a dry bright beautiful day. A family of 4 ticket cost us $90. We were able to sit upstairs outside and had fabulous views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the Golden Gate Bridge which we sailed under before... More

This was included in our city pass and offered a decent opportunity to see the bay and views of the golden gate bridge. Friendly staff and an informative audio guide made it a good trip. Lasts about an hour and wrap up warm so you can make the most of the photo opportunities. Great value from the city pass, but... More

I did a 1 hour cruise and it was fantastic. A great way to see the city, the Bridge and Alcatraz when you are short on time. I liked that it was low maintenance and easy.

The 1 hour cruise is including in our CityPass ticket. Otherwise the purchase price is $30 for an adult. The boat goes right under the Golden Gate Bridge and tells you a bit about the history of the city. We were in the back of the boat and wasn't really bothered by the wind/cold. The view was spectacular, definitely a... More

We used the City Pass, and found this attraction easy and hassle free. It is located on Pier 39. You pay or surrender your City Pass at the kiosk. You then get a ticket that can be used at anytime for 6 months at any sailing time. We got in line for the next sailing and then boarded the boat.... More

This is a great audio tour of the bay area. Sail between the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate, especially in the fall. The bay Area it so gorgeous in the fall and its the bet time to be on the bay for the clearest views.

Took the ferry from Tiburon to SF. For those new to the area, it is a good way to see the city and the bay. Fun to pass right along Alcatraz. Why does the staff have to address those boarding and disembarking as drill sergeants. Very rude.

It is best to buy your tickets at least a little in advance. Then go get an ice cream or wander in the shops. You should get in the line about half an hour in advance to get the best spots on the boat: that is unfortunate. I think they should issue numbers from the beginning so that we don't... More

This cruise is great value for a 1 hour cruise. You get a good commentary of the history and landmarks of this beautiful bay. First bit of advice is to utilize the smartphone commentary that is the same as the on board version piped through speakers; available at bg.com. If your hearing is poor or if you plan to move...
