As a first-timer in San Francisco, going on a cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge plus a view of the Alcatraz is a wonderful experience. We took the 6PM tour so the wind was crazy. So I suggest to take the earlier time slots if you don't want to feel so cold. They had a "audio" tour but it was... More

I hopped on one of these tours at the last minute, and the ease of that is probably the best thing about my experience. The boat itself was old, and the outdoor part of the seating only had a partial view from behind the boat's bridge. There was almost no personal service from staff, and the recorded tour kept cutting... More

We took the Bay Cruise under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz. It was very choppy the day we went, and the captain handled it great. The narration was very informative. The boat we were on was not the newest thing, but it was more than adequate for a 1 hour trip. I highly recommend this as a way to... More

The boats are old and rusty, the service is not warm and the prices of the snack shop on-board are ridiculous. Perhaps because there are little to no competitors providing the same service.

Yes, I admit to being a tourist that rented a bike to ride across the GGB and down to Sausalito. I want to make it abundantly clear and that I proudly own that fact. I enjoyed a fine lunch there on the waterfront. When I was done, I rode a short distance up the Bridgeway to the Ferry Landing where... More

Was disappointed not to go onto the rock. The trip was well worth it, informative and not rocky enough to make you seasick. Take a warm jacket as it is breezy and chilly even in June.

We took the short tour that sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge and it was great. There was a long line when we arrived, but as the boat arrived everyone managed to board the ship accordingly. Make sure to go on a sunny day so the scenery would be great.

Blue and Gold Fleet are the main ruise boats on the Bay. We took a tour from Pier 39 down to the GG Bridge and back. It takes an hour. The cuise was lots of fun but be warned, the waters are not necessariy as calm as they might at first seem. Whilst they are tranquil at source in the... More

Unbelievably inept. Extremely hot sunny weather and they left hundreds of people (inc many kids) stranded for the next ferry without so much of a sorry or explanation, let alone any shade, water, or putting extra ferries on. Prioritised foot passengers who just turned up over cyclists and others who had been there nearly 2 hours. Really ruined our day... More

Hi Chris, Thank you for bringing our attention to this upsetting situation. It is never our intention to upset our customers. Please believe me when I say our customers are our number one priority. Sometimes our captains are forced to make decisions that are unpopular, but necessary for safety/ capacity concerns and rules set forth by the US Coast Guard.... More
