Awesome shopping in unique boutiques. Absolutely loved some of the homewear shops... Modica, Tate & Kennedy, Isabelle's Table, ATYS. Things I haven't seen elsewhere, and I DO shop a lot, so finding multiple stores with unusual items is quite a treasure. Also stumbled upon an Innuit Art place (Images of the North), fantastic and very memorable chocolate (Goldleaf Chocolate Company)... more

WE were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary and decided to stay in Union Street (not Union Square, as was a bit confusing). Place was incredible, just the quaint, no-big-chains, 'real people' kind of neighborhood we wanted. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon the ideal location... we stayed in the best block of Union Street... a couple... more
