Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rental and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids' bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and are open at 8am every day. For those that want something more, we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary.

Blazing saddles in itself wasn't the problem our poor sense of direction was. Yes they give you a tour "video" and a map....which still makes me laugh on how close we were to finding the path....however if you are not use to riding a bike on the street with a lot of traffic this can be overwhelming. Plus we were... More

We rented bikes in the afternoon from Blazing Saddles and biked across the bridge. It was windy and cold but we still loved it! We were impressed with the staff- they were friendly and helpful. (I recommend getting bikes earlier than 4pm - We biked across the bridge and down into Sausalito (Spend time here or in Tiburon) We got... More

I did this with a group of friends back in March 2015. Be prepared for a long few hours of biking, so bring plenty of water and snacks for the ride. The bike was fantastic, but the directions provided were vague in parts - so be prepared to either ask for some directions or use a GPS. Other then that,... More

We have visited this area many times but this was the first time we have taken advantage of the bike concession. Staff was very helpful if not a bit over enthusiastic. We took the self guided tour option which I recommend and did the semi-rigorous over the bridge and into Sauselito route and then returned on the ferry. Only negative... More

Good price, friendly upbeat staff who make the experience fun. I cycled around San Francisco by myself one day and then went across the bridge/Sausalito/Tiburon another day. Over all good experience. Most staff seem pretty good and there are a few that were excellent! Would rent from them again.

By far the best thing me and my husband did on our recent trip to san fransisco. Such a fun experience biking across the bridge and down into the pretty town of sausilitto. Staff provided us with maps, easy to follow directions and return ferry tickets from across the bridge. We opted for the all day rental which i thought... More

I booked this via groupon(you can and should book direct if no groupons are available) Rented a bike for myself and my 10yr old son. We biked along the bay and then accross to Saulsalito. It was awesome. Great views and lots of places to stop. The bikes were very easy to ride, in good mechanical condition and had locks.... More

First off, the bike was perfect for the purpose and well maintained. That's the important thing and I give the bike 5/5. Unfortunately the map lacks detail where you need it and is just wrong in places (what happened to Larkin street? We can't find our way around if you miss off roads.) Also in the printed instructions there is... More

My boyfriend and I rented two deluxe bikes to ride over the Golden Gate from Fisherman's Wharf to Sausalito. First of all, I must say, this was an amazing experience overall, however, there were a few small improvements that Blazing Saddles could have made to make our biking experience better. Before I go into the cons of the trip, let... More
