Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rental and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids' bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and are open at 8am every day. For those that want something more, we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary.

Great company to deal with. We biked over the Golden Gate to Sausalito, which does not take long even following all the interesting side tracks. The fort at the base of the bridge is worth a visit. It is a most dreary building bit has a fascinating history. We had lunch in Sausalito, a love little town with lots of... More

My daughter and I hired bikes to ride over the Golden Gate Bridge, and on to Sausalito. All good, but Sausalito was so busy, we carried on straight past, all the way to Tiburon - about 22 miles in all! The bikes were great, lots of gears, which I especially welcomed on those hills! This was probably our best day... More

We rented bikes down by the wharf so we could bike across the Golden Gate Bridge. These folks were nice but I did feel a bit rushed while getting my helmet and fitted for a bike. I know they have a lot of folks going in and out, but I would've like a few moments to make sure all fits... More

The staff at 757 Beach Street were very energetic and fun, you really only interact with them when you pick up the bikes and drop them off. They noticed my wife was pregnant and made sure she was comfortable on the bike before we took off. We rode across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and rode the ferry back,... More

We were a group of 9, 4 adults and 5 children. We loved the opportunity to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Sausalito. The ride was not too strenuous, so no whinging from the kids. Tick...The staff explained the route in detail and provided appropriate safety gear for everyone. It was a real highlight of our San... More

This is mainly a commentary on the experience. Travelling with wife and daughter (25) for a short week / long weekend break to San Francisco she persuaded us to do a one day bike hire even though never of us had ridden for some time (daughter often does this when travelling far and wide). We selected Blazing Saddles from various... More

We had a great time on this tour. We were so happy at the end because we could say we did it! We are not super athletes but we are young and not worried about riding a bike all day. BUT kind of overlooked how HILLY San Fran is (we're from New England.) The biking was a lot harder than... More

Very professional outfit for bike rentals. It got off to a great start with a cheesy yet entertaining induction video. The bikes seemed well maintained and the map and instructions were very helpful. The staff provided exceptional service and were always happy to help.

My review is more for experience itself versus the company. There are many bike rental companies and probably all the same in terms of cost, etc. I found that the staff were friendly but rushed you along. The maps are ok, you figure it out. The real experience is riding over the bridge and into Sausalito! Highly recommend renting bikes... More

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the experience of riding over the Golden Gate Bridge - there really is nothing like it! We apologize you felt rushed during our orientation.
