Owner description: Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids’ bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and we open at 8am every day. For those that want something more we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary, so come on down when you’re ready to Bike the Bridge!

In town for a Tuesday meeting. Saving some money on flights (arr. Sunday) allowed me a day to myself with pocket money to spare. So Monday was all mine. My first choice - simply walking on to the Alcatraz Ferry - was a non starter without a reservation, so walked around North Beach. Blazing Saddles everywhere! Asked a couple of... More

Bike the bridge is the must do experience on your trip to SF. These guys are cool, "yeah you 2 can do it" cried the Jefferson St garage. Me & my wife rode a tandem or should I say I rode & she just sat there & enjoyed the view. Over the Golden Gate Bridge we went took some snaps... More

We Biked the Bridge!! We cycled over the Golden Gate Bridge on our first full day in San Fran! The views were amazing and Saulsalito was a beautiful place to end. We had amazing ice creams and a few beers at the many Cafe's by the bay once we had completed the ride over the bridge! The ferry was easy... More

Rode a tandem bicycle while others in group were on singles. Rode across the Golden Gate Bridge and rode the ferry back. Awesome experience. The ride had a lot more incline than I thiought, so if you aren't in shape I would recommend walking the bike up at points. Ferry line back was very long.

We did the golden gate guided tour, it was just fantastic. Not too much infomation overload, stopped plenty of times for the best photo ops which our guide was only too happy to take for us, we got some amazing fun shots. Some parts of the ride were rather steep and the road to Sausalito is rather a busy road but... More

We really wanted to cycle the bridge, come down the otherside and catch a ferry back from Sausalito however we spent too muhc time at Alcatraz so only had time to do the bridge and come back. However this was amazing, the staff at the shop were really helpful and gave fair warning about the 'little' hill you meet quite... More

The staff were really great and personable. We went on a Saturday when it was super busy and the staff were still friendly and had a great sense of humor. I think the rental for the base bike started at $8 per hour and $100/bike deposit. We didn't take the ferry/go that far, but they give you ferry tix for... More

I had reserved bikes online prior to arriving in SFO. My flight was late arriving so I did not make it to the Blazing Saddles shop on Mason Street until almost 2pm. The staff was friendly and quickly got us on our way. We opted for s self guided tour. They gave us maps. I thought the bikes were good,... More
