We hired bikes to cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge. Really good fun. You have to leave a deposit for each bike which is held on a credit/debit card. The cost to hire two bikes, insurance cover and tickets for the ferry crossing came to $96 in total. Not cheap but definitely worth it. More
