At Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids’ bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and we open at 8am every day. For those that want something more we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary, so come on down when you’re ready to Bike the Bridge! « less

It was great and the staff was wonderful, it was all really quick and we didn't have to wait at all! We made it through the Golden Bridge to Tiburon and it was beautiful but we did get lost.. The only thing was the direction from Sausalito to Tiburon was not very clear. The rest was amazing!

Wherever we come into San Francisco, we like to rent bikes and cruise the city. We usually stay in a hotel around the Union square area. I'm glad to know we don't have to be near the very touristy parts of the city like Pier 39. We actually got our bikes from the Mason St. location next to the Donatello... More

A new perspective of and from the Golden Gate Bridge was made possible by the easily accessible and fun jaunt offered by Blazing Saddles. Not a bicycle enthusiast, I was skeptical when members of our diverse group (we ranged in age from 11 to 60) wanted to take Blazing Saddles up on their offer to 'ride bikes across the Golden... More

Great Attraction for goint to the Golden Gate Bridge. to go from Pier 39 to the Golden Bridge in bike. the Bikes are really in a good shape. The staff is really good and its around 6 miles. And when you cross the bridge you can return in a Ferry. (They forgot to tell me that detail so we had... More

We used Blazing Saddles for a ride over the bridge to Tiiburon and back on the ferry. The staff were great and clearly well organised for the busy summer season. Bikes were good but maps could be a bit clearer for the longer route to Tiburon. We had a great day, but beware there are more hills than suggested, a... More

Booked the 'Urban Parks Guided' tour months before our arrival in SFO. On their website they state: "This tour departs at 10am and 1pm daily from our 433 Mason Street location. Please arrive 15 minutes early for bike fitting and orientation." So we arrived at 12.45 pm..... to find a surprised staff member that told us that tour only starts... More

In terms of customer service, don't expect much, at least when you are waiting in the line to get into their shop or when they are checking you in. The place is usually packed during the weekends and they don't spend time to have a reasonable level of communication with the customers. After you are checked-in and before proceeding to... More

We (family of five - three children) used the Columbus branch for a trip across to Sausalito. All the team at the branch were friendly and helpful. Made the process of hiring the bikes both swift and easy. Trip across GG bridge definitely worth it. A couple of hills that may challenge the infrequent cyclist. Agree with earlier comments about...
