My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this 1 1/2 hours trip round Alcatraz and then under the Golden Gate Bridge. The sea was a bit choppy but wasn't a problem although it did begin to get cold. However, warm anoraks were provided which was a really thoughtful gesture and most passengers took advantage of them. There was a bar on... More

We loved that this was a more intimate cruise - it was a weekday morning and there was just 8 of us (I'm sure weekends are more crowded, but still much smaller than most). We had missed out on Alcatraz tickets but he drove us all the way around the island, slowly enough for us to take it all in.... More

Great evening with great views. The size of the boat doesn't make it too crazy, even on a windy evening. A must experience for a beautiful evening with or without kids.

With visiting sf so much, i can't believe we haven't done this earlier. I took my girlfriend out to the bay for the day, and with her living there in the past, i thought i wasn't able to take her somewhere she hasn't been. Taking her out to sail ended up better than i expected, we LOOVED the whole experience.... More

Excellent crew and boat. There wasn't any commentary just the enjoyment of being out on the bay which we prefer. The Light hors d'oeuvres were a let down. They were more like snacks. Mostly consisted of dips, cheese, crackers and nuts. Not what I would call hors d'oeuvres.

A really enjoyable afternoon out on the Bay, with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco from a distance. We also saw porpoises alongside the boat just as we pass the Golden Gate, which was a very welcome surprise! Good on-board bar too. Be sure to wrap up warm though - it gets chilly out on the... We went out on the 3:00 pm sailing and it was amazing! With only 10 other passengers on board we had a very nice time with lots of room to spread out. This was their slower season and heard they could have up to 40 people on the boat at a time so we were certainly happy for a little... More

We had that trip as a team building event at a very affordable price (about 50$). Book in advance to be sure you get place on the boat. We were with about 20 people on the boat, which gave us all the freedom to move around and not being packed. We opted for the sunset version in October: it gives... More

My wife and I enjoyed immensely the cruise in the bay recently (late afternoon on April 23, 2015). We sailed around Alcatraz island and then under the Golden Gate Bridge. It was very windy on this day but the boat was fast and steady. Captain Tony was very expert and obviously loves to sail. And crew member, Nancy, was very... More

If you love the water, this is the tour for you. An hour and a half of SAILING from Pier 39, out toward Saucilito, around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate Bridge and back. No prerecoded tour script, just two guys sailing and answering any questions you have. I helped raise the main sail and got to steer the boat for... More
