This is the best way to view San Francisco's many charms from the water- it's a short ride with views of the city from a different perspective, Coit Tower, the waterfront, Golden Gate Bridge, sailboats & there are plenty of good restaurants & shopping to entertain you in Sausalito; plus the weather is always warmer in Marin County. The ferry's... More

My husband and I always return to San Francisco almost every year and return to the same old places. Do ride the DUCK boat. This one really was used in WWII because of the 2 axles in the back. Great land tour and the ride in the bay is great. This is the only DUCK ride that gives you a... More

Got to see lots of sites from the water. The narrator was very knowledgable about the area. We sat on the top deck to get the best view, but it was really cold. All the shops sell fleece jackets at a great price. That is a great purchase. You will need it in SF.

We thought we will try San Francisco instead of LA for the beginning of our two weeks in the USA. What an awesome city!!!!! From union square to Fishermans wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz, what a fun and interesting city. Staying in the heart of the city at the 110 year old Westin St Francis ,we had the... The views of the bay can be seen at Fisherman's wharf, views of Alcatraz, Sausalito, and Golden Gate Bridge are breathtaking. Another perspective of the bay from the Golden Gate Bridge is also spectacular. The Ferrys from pier 39 will give a perspective of the city from the bay, and see the wonderful skyline. Be aware that the temperature is... More

This Bay is very very impressive with 4 bridges to be admired from the city itself. The Golden Gate is just one of the 4. This Bay is huge and has such an interesting history. The weather is changeable, fog can roll in upon a blue sky and makes for an ever-changing landscape to be continually admired

The boat tour on the bay is great to see San Francisco in all aspects. The tour brings you under the Golden Gate, and around island of Alcatraz. A must to do in San Francisco
