We had dinner in Fishermans Wharf and then walked to Ghiradelli Square Ice Cream Shop for dessert. This was fun. The selection for ice cream treats is good. I got the banana ice cream sundae and it was very good not GREAT, but the EAT-mostphere is so fun and lively. We had fun. More

Not a factory tour. Not a discount outlet. Rather, an overpriced retail store. For example, a large 80% cocoa bar is almost $5 at the Ghirardelli store. Back home, that exact same cocoa bar is $2.50. If paying inflated prices is your thing, have fun. I guess I was expecting something different. More

This is THE place to go for chocolate. All kinds of chocolate. White, milk, dark, cocoa, syrup and anything else you can think of. The shop has a great selection for gifts or for yourself.
