Little seems to have changed since fellow TA Poster - DJ_guy's post from December 2010. The Cannery building itself looks very nice and seems primed to be a great little shopping centre and restaurant area. I'd been to the Cannery decades ago, and it was a bustling marketplace. Last weekend I returned. We visited the Wharf Garage on the first level. Interesting store. There was also a bicycle rental place on the same level that was closed, temporarily. We took the elevator to the second level and found...nothing. Nothing but vacancies. There must be more... More

I stumbled upon the Cannery on my way to Fisherman's Wharf. It's not as well known as the other notable areas of the Wharf, but it has its share of interesting shops and dining options.
