not worth the USD7 (previously USD5) for just a observation deck less than 7x7 m2 on top. not worth the walk/hike up the hill. if there's someone to explain on the mural at the llbby, it would be so much better

Suprised the wife for a tour via limo and everything was awesome, I like to see a vendor nearby selling snacks and food. Parking was a joke since I did plan it on a weekend on a gorgeous day but well worth the wait.

I enjoyed our visit to Coit tower and to enjoy the gorgeous views from the top and the mural art in the main floor lobby. It is a wonderful SF tourist experience for locals and out of towners alike. By good fortune we were there when a sign came out for a docent tour which was led by a volunteer... More

good : Great views from the top of the tower of SF from Golden Gate Bridge to South of the bay bridge. Entry is $7.00 for adults, less for seniors and kids means its a reasonable value Bad: To see anything you must go to the top of the tower. trees and bushes have so overgrown the base of the... More

It was awesome to walk up the hill and see the city below. One of my favorite things in SF. I definitely recommend it. We actually didn't get up the tower, someone advised us the view was just as great below without paying the 7 or 9 dollars. And we were definitely pleased.

great views of the city ($7/person)...beware of morning fog blocking the golden gate bridge from view...i actually think i enjoyed walking up the stairs to get to the tower more than the tower itself! quaint and charming homes tucked into the steep landscape all the way up; lots of flowers, too...

Coit Tower is located at the top of Telegraph Hill. It is a very good place to view the city. We were on foot, so we had a great perspective and were pleased to sit in the shade after the long uphill walk. The Tower has a fee(about$6) to take an elevator to the top, since you are already fairly high... Stopped for about 20 minutes during private tour of SF. Tower has great story behind it, cool artwork inside and an awesome view looking out over the bay. Was very crowded the day we went, limited parking. Most people seemed to have walked up or taken a tour bus, etc. No cost for admission. Was windy and cool, so take... More

If you like climbing up the stairs to the top of Coit tower and looking at flowers and multi-level condos built against the side of the hill, this is worth it. Once you have climbed over 100 feet of stairs, you have to pay $7 to go up the elevator to coit tower and the view is interesting but not... More
