Like the view of SFO COIT tower, the trolley ride and restaurants in the area. We walked to the COIT, China town, Russian Hill, saw the crooked road from this hill and the surrounding areas.

Good open market. Plenty of organic vegetables and fruits are available at reasonable prices. Experience decent food from the food trucks.View of the bay is relaxing.

Well worth a visit for all the sites and smells - would definitely recommend for fellow foodies (even though it was torture looking at all the amazing ingredients and not being able to cook because of staying in a hotel!)

I visited here on a Saturday morning and had some coffee and a snack while looking out at the beautiful bay. Lots of food vendors, and probably some other stuff too, I was mostly paying attention to the food. Really a nice scene if the weather is good and worth a visit in my opinion. If the weather is bad,... More

We went to the Embarcadero's farmer's market during our time in SF, and it did not disappoint. It is huge! You could probably do lunch for free there with all the samples. Well worth an hour or so of your time if your in the area.

What an amazing farmers market filled with local, organic produce, delicious cooked food, and lovely local vendors. Go early and don't miss out on the jewelry and handmade items being sold in the front on Market street. Bring tote bags and cash!

There is everything grown in California (that is edible) on display. There are plenty of samples and great smells and tastes to keep you going for an hour or more. The jazz band playing outside made for a very pleasant morning in the sun.

This is our favorite spot on a Saturday morning and we try to include it in every SF visit. Walking through the market and sampling fresh produce, local artisanal products, it is just amazing! Even if you aren't shopping for food and don't live locally, this is a wonderful morning treat.

A fantastic place to spend a morning. There are a number if stalls...selling everything from art to fresh produce to slow food served fast! You can pick up food if you are in a self-catering apartment or just grab a great breakfast and coffee. Gets busy and the crowds can be a little daunting but well worth it.

Inside Pier 1 is a collection of shops with touristy stuff, nice collectibles and general necessities (the necessities-style shops are hard to find in San Fran). The Farmer's Market outside had a wonderful selection of delicious fruits, vegetables, and nuts at a slightly high price, but reasonable for fresh stuff.
