We were able to catch this and the Ferry Building Farmers Market on the same day. It was a beautiful morning and a great experience

I visited here because Adam Richmond of "Man vs. Food" fame recommended the Farmer's Market in his book America the Edible. The way he described the set up from Cow Girl Creamery, to Acme Bread Company, to the coffee shop was perfect. I even paid $3.50 for a cupcake and thought it was money well spent. So while I didn't... More

When coming back from Sausalito, the ferry stops in front of this beautiful bilding in which you will gonna taste samples of different high quality products just brought by farmers. Attempt to try the oils especially te rosemary one and a delicious chicolatecaramel-almondcandy sold in one of the market's corner.

An abundance of locally sourced, fresh, organic products - lots of things I'd never tried before. Sellers are friendly and informative and we got to sample everything and ended up buying LOADS! Reasonably priced too!

If you are in SF on Saturday, it's a great way to start of your morning. It's difficult to not love this farmer's market. The location and the sheer volume and variety of vendors makes it such a nice Saturday morning outing. You can get anything in veggies and fruits you want here. Along with cheeses and meats and jams... More

This is a must do if in the area. The market has everything you could possibly need. The vendors are extremely kind and helpful. There are samples of numerous items. Come early and enjoy breakfast and coffee as you shop.

I stumbled upon the farmer's market while in San Francisco. It was Saturday and I had read something about it. I was amazed. Fresh vegetables, fresh flowers, fresh fruits, hand crafted food items...so many good reasons to tour this immense farmers market. With all the colors and textures and smells, I enjoyed myself entirely just looking and wandering around. And,... More

Mushroom store, fresh home made breads, finer cooking stores, and my favorite, Cowgirl Creamery, a store based from the main creamery in Point Reyes. Don't arrive too early because they don't open until 10:00 AM. Outside the back, their are good views of the Oakland Bay Bridge, and an out of place statue dedicated to Gandhi.

In reading the other reviews, I must have hit this place on a bad day. It's OK to walk by on the way to something else, but no way is this worth a special trip on its own. Tables were few, variety minimal.

Check out the farmers market with awesome products (and awesomer samples) as well as some delicious meals from the many food stands. This was a great stop for me. Rented a bike and had an awesome ride there, walked among the stands, had my fill of great products (wish I could have bought something to take home), great view with... More
