Between the choices inside the Ferry Building and the Market stalls outside the building, you will definitely not go hungry. Lots of fresh seafood, fruits and baked goods everywhere. Just a fun environment to grab a quick bite of food, enjoy all the activity and do some shopping if you are so inclined.

I absolutely love this Farmer's market. If you can, go early in the morning. You will find everything from fresh fruit, flowers and produce, to delicious cheeses and meats, to top-notch pastries and sandwiches. My fiancé and I went this morning and feasted on everything from eclair to coffee to raw oysters! This is a great place to pick up... More

Great variety of food choices, all of which have great quality at fair prices. All wholesome locally- and PC-correctly rendered. Without the special parking permit that our son has, parking might well be an issue (I didn't see any legitimate disabled parking). Nice views of the bay and Bay Bridge, fascinating people-watching.

This is a huge market with everything to stimulate all your senses. The smells of wonderful food, herbs, and spices immediately put a smile on your face. The visual colors or all the vendors are stunning. Live music by street performers such as steel drum bands and key board players keep the energy level high. Lots of things to taste... More

i make it a point to stop here on every trip, it is great. There are a wide variety of vendors both food and merchandise. You must try the dates, i travel to the middle east often and know a good date these are amazing. great place to grab lunch and some fruit and cheese for later.

My tummy was grumbling as I walked along the beautiful Embarcadero last Saturday Morning.....then it hit me.....the Farmers Market was going on all around and inside the Embarcadero Bldg. Oh what a delight! I sampled my way through fruits, cheeses, seafood, olive oils, and finally ate at " The Slanted Door", where I my salvatory glands threatened to drown all... More

Great stop to put on your list to make you feel like a local. Even if you don't buy anything, just touring the many vendors and seeing all the great produce and other products is enough to make you want to move to San Francisco and do that every Saturday.

This place is nice and there is a bunch of stuff all around to walk to in the area. The big tip here is parking on the weekend to come over here. I found a place for $3 for all day weekend parking!! Trip advisor doesn't have parking garages here for review but if you are coming to the farmers... More

There was so much varied produce on offer, with tasting options on most. Fruit, veg, nuts, olives, breads, dips, pickles, jams. Located at Embarcadero a good way to idle away a couple of hours on Saturday morning, before choosing one of the excellent places for a Brunch.
