Great place to visit, free & informative. The hospital saves hundreds of sea lions & seals yearly. Glad we visited, nice drive along the headlands. Exhibits explain the hazards of ocean trash, cigarette butts are #1, & how the Docs flush poisons like tar from the animals bodies.

Before we went to SF I did my due diligence and research and this site really helped me as the Marin Headland park was my favorite part of this trip. Wow! The view was fantastic, the drive to there and in the park was very memorable! Really breathtaking location. It's a must see! And there is a little beach there... More

Have often been to this region on business but not always enjoyed the scenic highlights. On this trip, focussed on pleasure and this is a wonderful spot to enjoy the views - a great drive over the Golden Gate Bridge fro downtown.

We were in town for business, but drove up for a quick view. It is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful spot to get pictures of the golden gate. Would love to go back and hike.

This place has really nice view. Great small hikes up to the top of hills for great views. You can rent bikes to ride across the golden gate.

A short uphill walk over the far side of the Golden Gate Bridge brings you to Battery Spencer and the start of the Marin Headlands. This is probably the best viewing point to see the Bridge.

I made the trip from San Fran on an electric MTB bike with a mate. We crossed the Golden Gate on the way to Sausalito and made a stop at Marin Headland. Best thing we did that day. To see the best views of the bridge and harbour I recommend a stop here!

If you like views and want a nice picture of San Francisco you should go here. Although sometimes it's windy, its nice to stay there enjoying these views.
