Had a family picnic up in the headlands for Mom's day. We had been having beautiful weather so were hoping for the best. Denied!! The fog was in heavy and thick and never burned off. Ok, it is a bit of a drive from San Francisco. However, once you have visited Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower etc. you should spend a few hours or the whole day at Marin Headlands - Fort Barry.
