I was speechless the whole way up to the top. You get to experience so much. The golden gate (getting there), the ride to the top, and the views at the top. The whole ride up, I was pretty much in shock. I have never seen anything so beautiful when it comes to scenery. The view of the city of... More

Our tour bus drive (for Muir Woods) took us there for a quick photo opportunity. It offered a excellent place of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was windy and the drive up was a little scary. Worth the trip over the bridge! It was a little difficult to find exactly where I needed to go, but once I found it....perfect! I came here just before sunset so I could watch it go down. Beautiful!!!!

Hop on over to the Tennessee Valley and head out to the ocean. Absolutely beautiful views, great day hiking, and trail running. You can hike out to Muir Beach, Mt Tam, or the GG Bridge if you'd like!

What do you want more? From walking on hills with ocean views and climbing around old batteries, the Marin Headlands are an outdoor enthusiast's dream. On top of it, when clear it's the best view onto the Golden Gate Bridge and the city.
