I liked it. Never been here. Loved walking around, also so many places to shop and eat. They have a little park as well as a aquarium. There's boat rides, small mini bungee jump. Ex... Loved it.

We went there because we were on the area. Full of souvenir/gift shops and tourists. Nothing original. Everything is made for and enjoyed by legions of tourists. People wait and die to watch the seals on the pier, so you might be able to spot them... and it stinks!

The pier itself was very busy and there was only one sea lion due to the time of year we visited. I might have spent longer on the pier had it not been so crowded but it was difficult to move between the shops!

Arrived there mid morning, not to busy, had lots of room to browse all the little shops. Love all the art stores. However, by afternoon it was packed and was a lot harder to move around, not quite as enjoyable. Also got to see a couple of sea lions, Lots of fun!

Cool place with something for everyone. Comedy act in the middle was very entertaining until his 15 minute rant reminding people he worked for tips. A nice way to spend some time time in SF.

Pier 39 has so much to offer. From shops to restaurants to eateries. Don't forget the famed Pier 39 Seals that you can hear the minute you step on the pier. Our favorite places to eat are Bubba Gumps for lower prices, then for a treat, Neptunes Palace. Both have different views and you can ask to see menus prior... More

This was one of the best places we visited in San Francisco. It was very busy on a Monday Holiday and the atmosphere was fantastic. I do recommend getting there early before anything opens so you can get some great shots... with a camera :) Although an early morning coffee was hard to find.

Amazing views and lots of fun for kids and adults. Only downside is that is always super crowded! There is a good spot to see the sea-lions.

We had two small children and needed to keep them busy and entertained. There was so much to do. There are tons of shops to cruise, restaurants (pricy because it is a tourist trap), the harbor cruises, trips to Alcatraz, rides on the carousel, hanging out with the sea lions, and feeding the gulls (bring some bread)
